theoretically, RM1.92 does not mean to be a bottom.
but practically, it is a bottom.
any sound player include EPF will not sell it below RM1.92.
they would better of selling it to hengyuan at RM1.92 rather than selling open market below the price.
so the plan here might be selling all the way down to RM1.92 and sell to all available buyer first.

anyway. the downside is quite limited at current price.
the ultimate support would be at RM1.92.

Jetli, please get your facts straight become commenting like a pro.
"deal has been revised"
what makes you feel that it is so?
Go check and read the full announcement first.

traderman my statement is a quote from WB.
in whatever way you want to interprete it, its your choice.
if you are keen in buying or selling a company, intrinsic value may serve as a guide.
but nothing is definite.

something worrying is with their shopping mall achieving ~90% occupancy rate, they are still barely making any profit or even some losses.
we need to differentiate whether its some startup cost due to new opening of shopping mall or the rental from tenant for Sabah is that low, or maybe giving some special discount for the 1st few years of rental?
its hard to imagine a shopping mall with ~90% occupancy rate still barely making profit.

Its does not sound right or make any sense to spend (RM7M x 6) = RM42 million for so called "high-end residential property" which is totally not related to the business as a plantation company.
And the company is having such massive amount of borrowings.
2016-12-13 16:54 | Report Abuse
1 thing i feel weird is why on earth they want to buy 6 "high-end residential property" in Damansara Heights (worth RM7 million each) in 2015.
not to mention they have 4 unit of "8 storey apartment condo" in Sandakan.
what is the use of such properties for a plantation company??

the explanation for the rejected shoes is simply unacceptable.
like those illegal get rich scheme that offer 10% return per month, they will tell you, i earned a lot of money, but don't ask how i earn, i just happened to be able to earn so much money. don't ask why, just accept the fact and invest with me.
when asked XINQUAN about the identity of the client, they tell you its private and confidential and cannot be disclosed. why is it so secretive about the client?
if you have done nothing wrong, what's wrong to reveal your identity?
when asked about the so call convenient buyer that so conveniently buy all their rejected shoes at a dirt cheap price, did they disclose the buyer identity?

SuperLaber:
Yup, we can never know.
But he did reduce his stake, since in 2014 AR he having 800,000 shares.
in 2015 AR his name is no longer in the list, while the 30th largest shareholder has less than 800,000 shares.
So indeed he did reduce his stake during that period.
whether he buy back or whatever is just a wild guess by the public.
2016-12-08 09:19 | Report Abuse
nope as i check back.
its 2014 which is previous 2 AR.
not the past and the most recent AR.
he might be reducing his stake when the price is >RM2 to take profit.
he did mention in his new book that if the share you holding P/E rise 2X or more while you did not take profit, its greediness.
but if the share price rise together with EPS, and therefore same P/E, then its ok.

in fact coldeye is never a substantial shareholder (shares of 5% or above).
he did mention he will stop buying a company when he reach 4.99% threshold to prevent becoming a substantial shareholder which need to be reported for some company.
secondly cold eye is no longer a top 30 largest shareholder since the past 2 AR, not only in the latest AR. he is last seen in 2014 AR, NOT in 2015 and 2016 AR.
so is coldeye a top 30 largest shareholder is no longer an issue or we can say its a grandma story.
his shareholding in 2014 as listed is 800,000 shares.
but you go check how much the 30th largest shareholder's held in the latest AR.

the only risk of impairment is of the following situation:
the civil servant resign and so no automatic salary deduction.
as the edge weekly latest coverage, they did interview MBSB CEO about this.
he say there are numbers of civil servant , mostly in the 21-30 years old resigning from gov sector and finding jobs in private sector.
and some refused or unable to service their loan borrowed before and leads to impaired loan.
so, the risk only arose when,
the civil servant resign AND followed by refuse or unable to pay.
the 2nd scenario cannot occur without the occurance of the 1st.
but RCE is addressing this issue by linking into CCRIS system.
so those that refuse to pay will have their name in CCRIS system which make it impossible for them to deal with any credit facilitiy, not even apply a credit card from any malaysian bank.
so, personal loan sector dealing with gov servent is still relatively safe.
the problem of personal loan rising gross impaired loan (GIL) only involve the private sector.
2016-11-15 00:03 | Report Abuse
how high the risk could be when most loans given to civil servants are using direct salary deduction scheme?
RCE had finished cleaning accounts book doing impairment of potential bad loans.
when economy down turn, rising cost of living, those civil servants no need to work?
won't right.
so as well they work and have salary, there will be no impairment.
they can't say "oh well, i don't wanna pay for this month instalment with direct salary deduction"
MBSB, its a good company but the management is not that good (EPF).
who knows whom they lend their money to and their aggresive behavior in growing the loans leads to massive impairment today.

My advise to you is to realize your mistake and buy bck to avoid missing the big opportunity.
Talk bad in i3 is useless since i3 is just a very small community.

Why?
the price keep going lower day by day & WC is keep buying back shares using company fund from the peak of over RM2 till now RM0.7xx.
But one thing very clear, check what is highest price d company share-buy back since months ago n make your own decisions to buy or not

steel88, may i suggest u go home and read the book "FINANCE for DUMMIES" 1st before commenting like a pro here.
Minimum, learn the skill to differentiate between a substantial shareholder, shareholder and director.
This would benefit you in the long run.
Perhaps lets say after the steel counter fever is over and now is the trend of CPO and you change your name to Sawit88, these basic understanding still can benefit you.

With regards to the low inventory level, kindly be informed that previously half of our raw material requirements are from third party whose supply is erratic thus a higher level of inventory is required. However now all our requirement is supplied from parent company and on time thus we do not need to keep a higher level of inventory.

Warren Buffett once explained,
“If a capitalist had been present at Kittyhawk back in the early 1900s, he should have shot Orville Wright. Seriously, the airline business has eaten up capital over the past century like almost no other business. You’ve got huge fixed costs, you’ve got strong labour unions and you’ve got commodity pricing. That is not a great recipe for success. In short, investing in airlines is nuts.”
