You can't find long term appreciation in malaysia stock market (except few tech stocks which happened in the past few years). For most of the stocks, you're considered lucky if the stock maintains its value for few years. Look at KLCI index then you'll know. No long term appreciation. Bursa malaysia is for short term gambling, this is the harsh truth.

I'm going to sell this counter first thing in the morning tomorrow. Lost faith in this counter as well. Must be something brewing that we are unaware of.

Why the huge selling volume? What happened to this counter? Why no investor seem like believing this counter? Anything that i missed out?

Seriously funny loh those ppl that blame KPMG. Pls lah why KPMG want to risk their reputation for this company? Im sure the fees from Serba dont even make up to 1% of KPMG's revenue. There's something fishy going on in Serba, and KPMG raised those issues. Serba can't provide a satisfactory answer to KPMG hence KPMG don't let them pass. Simple as that.

As an investor, you dont have to wait until everything is reported and finalized in order to make your investment decision. By that time others would have sold and what you left with is penny stock that no one wants to buy. Take action while you still can recover some

@jakeT Think from other perspective, if KPMG started to use app like Truecaller to verify things, this means KPMG is really suspicious of the company's transactions already.

Nvr expect so many fishy things happening below the surface.. it's a RM6b company after all.

@rkg im sure KPMG, being their auditor for 6+ years, know about their modus operandi and inside job better than most of us here.
That's why the fact that they don't sign the report this time suggests something worse is brewing

@rkgfantasy If this is the case KPMG would have no issue verifying the transactions. It's a different issue altogether.

From what i see the Special Independent Review
i roughly understand how Serba get project so easy
very typical GLC win win strategy
let say 100m project
serba tender with 120m, and promise to use the “supplier or related consultant provide by the project owner”
than Serba will appoint a professional sub or main con to do the job with 85million price tag
20m surplus consultancy fee will give back the insider project owner
serba earn 15m as a middleman, the subcon get 85m to do job
3 side win win....

that why when come to audit... look a lot of fishy, but this ain’t how those company doing ?

As i know the company is still bleeding cash and the profit reported is mainly made up of one-off gain from disposal of subsidiary. On paper it looks good but actually business cash flow is in question. Maybe that's why smart money won't come in.
