With net earnings per share expected to be not less than 70 sen for this year, just like over the past several years and a dividend of around 55 sen per share for the year, Maybank is trading at a PE of under 12 and a dividend yield of over 6%. Maybank is definitely trading at bargain price.

If the earnings per share is maintained at not much less than 18 sen, there is a high possibility that MNRB's price would move up quite substantially.

Good_News, you should do some research on your own instead of posing such a question to me. Compare IOI and TSH's yield per hectare with that of FGV, whose yields are higher?. IOI reported losses because a substantial portion of its debt is in US dollars. TSH case could be similar. EPF and Kumpulan Wang Persaraan had been selling FGV shares for more than a year. I wonder if they are still selling because they are not substantial share holders of FGV now and do not need to report to Bursa of their disposals. Now it is Lembaga Tabung Haji's turn to sell. You must be new to the stock market. Our stock market is irrational. Some companies trade at low PE ratios of under 10, some at over 30 to 40.

If you don't trust my forecast, just wait for another ten days at most and I WILL BE proven right. FGV's earnings won't improve with CPO at RM 2.200 a ton. This is common sense. What is the use of making just 1 or 2 sen a share?

The company can choose not to report all its foreign exchange gains. The RM 120 million forex gain is based on 1 US$ = RM 4.36 and 1 S$ =RM 3.06

Actually we don't know whether Kumpulan Wang Persaraan or the EPF are still selling their FGV shares now as their holdings have dipped below 5% and hence do not need to inform Bursa. The institution now selling FGV shares is Lembaga Tabung Haji.

Keck Seng's share price dropped to below RM 4.40 a share nearly three months ago. The company's share buy back scheme has already pushed up Keck Seng;s share price to RM 5.10 a share. So far the company has bought back less than 0.5 million shares, still long long way to reach 36 million shares.

Net cash already worth RM 1.78 a share. In addition, its holdings in KBunai shares are worth another RM 20 million or another 24 sen a share and the company has no debt. Investors must be thinking that Facbind's directors will siphon off the company's money one day.

MNRB's net earnings per share ranged from a low of 22.6 sen to a high of 73.2 sen over the past 6 years, with an average of 51.4 sen. In its latest quarter, its earnings per share has already reached 18 sen. Its share price dropped because it failed to declare any dividend for its financial year ended 31/03/2015, not because of poor earnings. ASB and PNB together control nearly 60 % of MNRB.

I hold less than 20,000 shares. The more the Ringgit drops, the more Keck Seng is going to benefit. Its foreign exchange gain so far this year is around RM 120 million.

BullRam, agree that past performance is no indication of future performance but this applies to all companies. After having dropped by over 50% during the past 3 to 4 years, wouldn't it be a good idea to re-visit this counter again? After all, all investments carry a certain amount of risk, the higher the risk, the higher the return.

CIMB made over 50 sen a share in 2013, 2012 and 2011. I believe its earnings would recover and perhaps surpass its earnings for 11, 12 and 13 within the next two to three years. When this happens, its share price should move beyond RM 7 again. At RM 4.50 a share, it is definitely a good investment.

Sing Dollar has appreciated by about 11% against the Ringgit since the beginning of the year while the US Dollar has appreciated by 18%. Ha, ha, I hope there are more investors like you so that I can make more money. Keck Seng's cash holding and the value of the shares it holds (assuming its value has dropped to RM 350 million) are already worth RM 3.75 per share. If you look through the analysis of shareholdings 2014, only one royal family member, Tunku Zahrah Bte Tunku Osman (Sultan's cousin) holds 1.545 milliom Keck Seng shares. I don't know if any other Johor royalty holds any Keck Seng shares. For sure, they won,t sell shares in the open market. The drop in Keck Seng shares is due to the drastic fall in CPO price.

Just pick up 1,000 shares each time it drops by 20 to 30 sen. Looking at the trend, some hands are trying to push its price further down. Just can't understand why investors are willing to sell such a cash and asset rich counter.

Go to page 53 of the annual report. Keck Seng had well over 900 million cash but this amount of money only earned the group 10.6 million in interest income. Our banks pay over 3% interest. The interest rate in Singapore is much lower. Look at the unrealized foreign exchange gain for that year and the year before. I believe the foreign exchange gain has not been fully reflected in the report.
