Syndicates are deliberately causing panic among small investors.

Earned about 12.5 sen a share last quarter. Annualised earnings per share around 50 sen. Prospective PE around 10.5 now.

Attend Keck Seng's AGM and pose this question to its directors. I am not in a position to enlighten you.

Apart from making 5.3 million or 6.32 sen a share from business operations, the value of its available for sale investments also increased by 6.8 million or 8 sen a share and its NTA increased by 11 sen.

Will take profit if it goes above 5.60 tomorrow.

TA shares keep dropping, small investors should keep buying.

tt101, you have to look at the overall picture, ie you have to consider all divisions, not just putting particular emphasis on the manufacturing division, hotel and resort. Now suppose the manufacturing division made 25 million this quarter instead of losing 25 million and the share investment lost 70 million instead of gaining 70 million and its NTA lost 15 sen a share instead, do you think such results are much worse?

Lost sooooo much money. Will dip below 1.60 today. Quickly run.

Likely to have suffered losses this quarter. NTA should be around 37 to 38 sen a share and I believe the company has about 500 million cash.

Result not koyak. Its net gain on available for sale financial assets (shares) totalled almost 70 million this quarter and this amount has not been included in the profit and loss account. I suppose such gains only need to be included in the final results.

Rubbish accounting. NTA increases by 17 sen this quarter and value of its investment in shares increased by 70 million. Yet it could report a loss for this quarter.

At 60 sen a share, prospective PE = 3, prospective dividend yield (one third of EPS) = 10%.

Those selling TA at 68 sen are selling a company with a prospective PE of only 3.5. Be patient.

TA is worth at least RM1 now with the release of the latest quarterly results. Of course it is unlikely to spike to RM1 tomorrow. May take up to two weeks if the market sentiment is good.

I suspect the quarterly result isn't good enough, otherwise it would have been released earlier.

At least a 5 sen jump in TA's share price tomorrow.

Very commendable performance. If such performance can be sustained in the next two to three quarters, expect TA's share price to go above RM1.50.

I am quite doubtful of the RM 2.06 million unrealised foreign exchange loss reported for the latest quarter. The US$ only lost 6 sen against the Ringgit during this quarter and you have to possess US 35 million cash in order to incur such amount of foreign exchange loss.

Apart from a loss of 4.03 million due to fair value adjustment on reassessment financial assets, there was another loss of 1.93 million due to reclassification of previously recognised fair value changes of available for sale financial assets and a further 2.06 million unrealised foreign exchange loss. Savvy investors should know whether these losses are one off or recurrent.

Cash and available for sale investments total about RM 150 million or 75 sen per share. Investors are now actually paying only 26 sen per share for Hexza's business.

Many companies would gain from the rising Ringgit but not Keck Seng. I don't think its management was smart enough to dispose of some of its US$ and Sing$ holdings earlier this year.

A lot of investors got their mathematics wrong. They can't just take into consideration the rights shares only while failing to take into account the price they had paid for the L&G shares which entitled them the rights shares. Assuming one was lucky and bought 10,000 L&G shares at 35 sen each which entitled him to 18,000 rights shares. The total basic cost would come to 3,500+3780 or 7,280 or 26 sen per share. So if you sell the RI at 24.5 sen, you just break even if the dividend is included.

Likely to go up further tomorrow.

Those who had bought last Tuesday and didn't pick up their scripts on Friday face forced selling today.

Moving up slowly and steadily. 60 sen should be in sight this time.

Last year's third quarter financial result was announced on the 12th May. The company is extremely late in releasing its latest quarterly result this year. Just be patient, at least wait for the announcement before you decide on your next course of action.
