u paint a very distorted picture. The true picture in Malaysia is not like that.......Chinese students with 10A nowadays can easily find full scholarships in private Universities, who wants to go to public universities?

@qqq....Operating profit can cover debt and going by Armada future plan, debt will be pared down which will bring down finance cost and depreciation cost. They will increase operating efficiencies as well. This is the future direction of the company. If execution can be carried out successfully, profit will only increase steadily in the future.
About current debt level, it is already reflected into current depressed share price. What I like is the profit margin and ROIC of this company. Should debt been pared down in the future, valuation will be much more than PE 8 as assigned by investment bank.

add depreciation $ $ 200 m
PBT plus depreciation is $ 300 million operating cashflows for 2 nd quarter....X 4 is $ 1.2 billion a years with possibility of better performance from recovery in OMS and Kraken...............

careful this company anytime can bankrupt. RM8.7 billion bank borrowings, Each year have to pay bank at least RM500 million. Assets are all 2nd Ships, some are old and near junkyard status.. Sea are high corrosive environment, ships also have very high maintenance cost

important thing is make money....if make money, gearing improves the ROCE.....

liquidity is another important test.....they say they are negotiating with bankers to ring fence another $ 1.5 billion Armada loans so they can reclassify as long term.......

with operating cashflow projected at $ 1.2 billion a year, lots of room for this share to go up................

sslee...see...my last batch of Serba was bought at 4.40.......

Serba I only started buying at $4.14 and still buying on Friday at $ 4.40 and London I sold half at 14.5 and still have half....and intend to sell the rest only when I make money....u never know...many shares go up after bad results.
