Malaysia faces shortage of work and promotions for young workers....

people must retire for there will be positions at the top.

imagine people hanging on to their jobs for next 10 years, the young ones eat what?

for a lot of jobs, there is the mandatory retirement age.....if they push up the mandatory retirement age, its good for the economy but lousy for young workers....most countries have chosen to push up the retirement age, the young workers turn to black shirts.

really meh? so easy its not humans already....the path to hell is laid with good intentions. That is why those with power always stick to status and those without always clamor for change.

Look at the black shirt movement of HK.....In this social media age things are highly unpredictable especially with the voting age of Malaysia just reduced.


A lot on the minds of leaders of PH, let them worry about it, and for the rest just enjoy be happy and positive and trade correctly..........


and between Anwar and Mahathir, its not a clear who can make better decisions.............

Opportunities with China and India are still largely untapped and virgin.......plenty of room to grow.

in the words of Mahathir, handling race relations is his biggest challenge.....very very difficult to get it just right with the right balance and with everyone after your blood.

That is the number one challenge..race and religion issues. All Islamic countries face the same challenge.

But Malaysia also very blessed. We are sandwiched between China and India....and we also have links to the West and to Middle East . We are tapped into the world . We can have an open economy and we are part of the world trading system....lately a lot of foreign companies are setting up shop here as regional HQ, that is great.

Still plenty of opportunities for Malaysia simply because we are Malaysia.

as for Dr M and PH.....what more to ask? Malaysia very lucky country already, all things considered. To over throw UMNO/ BN is itself a big achievement.

the rest...let them sort it out....they are quite smart also.

Malaysia is trapped, much like HK and Singapore are trapped.......do not expect miracles, can survive good enough...and of course we can no longer attract the kinds of FDI that Vietnam can attract.....totally different stage of development.
