@Penang123: But remember to wait for Uncle_Lim's technical rebound b4 taking action..... if Mon or Tues up down only 0.005 or 0.010, better don't do anything (just wait). If u want to buy at lower prices also must wait for it to lower by more than 0.010, otherwise u will end up losing more like what polycap said. It is not easy to do this method & I cannot guarantee u anything.... u bare your own risk (I take no responsibility for my advise).

If Penang123 cut-loss all at 0.37-0.38, she may lose a lot of real money (too painful) and what if after she cut-loss all at 0.38 then the price shoot up to 0.40 or 0.45?

Better sell stage by stage like 50k at a time.

Nil Ahmad's explanation sounds very logical (also sounds like a good plan).... but will these plans by CEO Shahril work out according to plan? If they turn out as plan, then that would b wonderful for everyone here.

@Jururawat: I key in (record) the data manually (back up automatically in external hard disk) but all my calculations were automatically done by my computer through MS Excel (of course, I have to initially input all the formulas).

There's no such thing as "will go up," we can only say "may probably go up."

There is a 55 % probability it may go up in the next 2 weeks. But bear in mind, that also mean there is a 45 % probability it may go down instead. This is what we call risk.

Waahh!! So many bad news..... mayb will drop to RM1.48 next week (see want to cut-loss or not).

@Lee Lee: U have to decide for yourself whether still can buy or not. Everyone of us here is taking our own risk after analyzing past data, TA chart, QR (fundamentals), and news release.

Good morning Jururawat! Hmmm..... it seems every website I used to get historical prices have withdrawn their historical data. I didn't realize that till now. As for me, I stopped relying on these websites for historical data since 3 or 4 years ago: I make my own records of daily prices from my broker's trading platform (Maybank IB). I store these data in my computer MS Excel and keep adding everyday's new data.

@armadasaxon: If u look at last year's MACD histogram around July - Aug and compare it with this year's MACD histogram around July - Aug, u can see that they were very different (more like opposite to each other).

Last year's TA chart didn't show the differences as I have explained above.

Also have to compare last year's QR and this year's QR (just out)..... which one gave a better report? were they the same (profit/loss)?

@armadasaxon: But one thing different this year from last year is this year we had election on May 9 and when BN lost, it caused CIMB's price to drop RM2.00 (from RM7.30 down to RM5.30).... now only come up a little bit, probably can move up at least 30 sen or 40 sen more b4 the 28 Sep dividend announcement.

Last year was announced on 28 Sep & dividend out on 10 Oct.... this year also should b around the same time.

Hmmm.... next time if it drops 10 sen again better buy some for last minute miracle.

Looks like the Yeoh family still want to maintain the price around RM1.30 to RM1.35; I thought they have given up that judging from today's 10 sen drop in price and no SBB for past few days.

Yes, it started dropping after May 09 election result. I think that matter is slowly subsiding... so the price start coming up again.

I think the CEO miscalculated this RI thing: he was thinking that if the RI at 30 sen when the market share price was 60 sen it would make the RI very attractive. But the problem is the 10 billion new shares... he should have priced the RI at 40 sen and 6 billion new shares instead of 10 billion new shares (then the price may only drop to 48 or 50 sen).

It is a good time to top up around this time and anywhere between RM6.05 and RM6.10.... then hold for a few weeks patiently.

The new support is at RM5.80 and the next resistance (new) is at RM6.56 and another resistance at RM6.86 (so, definitely it won't shoot up to RM7.00 just yet). The RSI is currently 71.8%; it may go stronger a bit to around 80%... getting overbought or overpriced. Hence, any upward price movement could be limited. Furthermore, tomorrow will be the last trading day for this week (Friday holiday)... so, there would be profit taking b4 the long weekend holiday.

I think I should add some too tomorrow (if price come down a bit)..... today I was too busy with other counters.

Today likely to close at RM0.345

If market price drop to 20 sen then who wants to buy RI at 30 sen? better buy at open market can get 20 sen.

Possible to close lower also if sharks want to use opportunity to unload their shares to ikan bilis.

I think institutional dumping on leave but sharks use the opportunity to push up the price on low volume.

Agree with i3lurker about people on leave & traffic.... volume this morning only half of yesterday morning but I think may close a little higher than yesterday.

Shortkaukau on leave today (preparation for Merdeka celebration).... IDSS less than 25 million.

Don't forget tomorrow is the last trading day for this week... then long weekend holiday. Now good chance for some people to take profit or reduce some risk.

A lot of previous mismanagement but the company still making profit (not loss).

Bought some at RM1.55

That's y the price also reduced by half now.

Simple answer YES.

Dirt cheap also no use if keep losing RM billions, cannot pay RM16 billion debt unless RI successful (if RI fail no eyes see), also have to keep injecting capital a few more times due to high salary of CEO.
