No need to wait for 9:00 a.m. tomorrow morning to decide: just look at the past 1 year from Sep 2017 to Sep 2018 RSI chart...... every time SAPNRG's RSI go above 70%, the next day its price will drop kau kau. To b precise, take note of its RSI on 3rd week of Sep 2017; end of Oct 2017; 2nd week of Jan 2018; 1st week of Apr 2018; around 15 Apr 2018; and today (RSI = 72%). It happened 5 times already without exception & today is the 6th time. U think tomorrow will b an exception that the price will not drop kau kau? It will b interesting to see tomorrow.....

i3lurker, don't drink so much Kingfisher beer..... if u want faster result, better drink Mandalay Whisky or Grand Royal whisky.

@i3lurker: Thanks for the warning. I have been using ChartNexus for more than 10 years.... no problem so far. Anyway, I usually do chart analysis outside trading hours (at night or weekends). Even though this TA software is not real-time (only end of day data), it is sufficient for mid-term to long-term projections. As for short-term analysis like daily or weekly projections, I use my own automated charts created with the MS Excel which is almost real-time (depending on every how many minutes I key in updated data). TA charts supplied by security firm not customized to individual trading style.

i3lurker on the subject of TA analysis..

I would suggest to use the TA charts supplied by securities firm as it is because:-

1) online real time rather than end of day data only.

2) security concerns.......Isolate your trading computer from all other softwares otherwise one fine day you may kena kaw kaw and lose all your money. (refer Penang money scams based on trading always kena hacked)

DO NOT USE OUTSIDE SOFTWARE unless it is running on another parallel computer.

@jermyn: If I am not mistaken KLSE Screener is not really a TA software. I have never used that screener but it looks complicated & has very limited capability. U should try using ChartNexus:

They have free workshops in major cities like KL, Penang, Singapore, etc. and there r youtube tutorials on how to use its software as well.

jermyn, do u use any technical analysis (TA) software (which is available free from internet)? While TA is not 100% useful all the time, it does help u see trends like rebound, correction, etc.

Just a small correction to stockraider: PNB is not underwriting the RI (they only agree to subscribe their share of RIs & buy additional ORs); I heard or read somewhere Maybank IB is underwriting the RI. Now, buying ORs has no additional discount.... in fact have to pay 32 sen for the 30 sen RI.

If too many ORs not purchased by institutions like PNB then Maybank IB will end up holding a lot of the unsubscribed RIs (a.k.a. ORs). When that happens, Maybank IB will b forced to sell off at huge discounts those unsubscribed RIs after it is listed as ordinary shares (mayb sell as low as 26 sen to recoup the money it paid to Sapura when underwriting the RI).

I tend to agree with qqq3. I would rather make small trading gain (if 33% profit is considered small) and miss the 100% full potential of unrealized SAPNRG value in case the OMV & RI did not go well (dealing with too many ifs) then may suffer 50% loss in trading capital (too risky).

I know y CIMB cannot move up...... bcoz EPF keep disposing millions of shares almost daily leh. What for? Mayb to force Nazir out......

@qqq3: For the same reason, we should avoid Sapura bcoz it is not doing well in its drilling & E&C businesses.... worst still, it is losing billions of RM. Despite those reasons, sometimes (once in a while) we can make profit from very short term betting on it.

As for SP Setia, I am just trying to time my entry & quickly exit it..... bcoz overall it is a very profitable company but its share price has been manipulated like Sapura. At some point in time, SP Setia has to suddenly move up back to its intrinsic value (mayb briefly only).

For me, a bet is not long term investment like PNB.

I am thinking more of like the recent case where I took the risk to enter at 0.345 and exit at 0.460, making 33% profit within 1 week.

But I find SAPNRG may be a good bet (bcoz it has a lot of "good news" & surprises) even though it has no good fundamentals at all..... if u can wait patiently to enter at the right time & exit quickly at the right time too.

Even companies with low debt & high profit also may not make good bets, for example SPSETIA has solid fundamentals (very profitable business & low debt) but the share price keep going down & down (never up for a long time already).

NTA doesn't really help in winning a bet, no help at all.

pang72's pray kau kau won't work with Sapura as long as spinninglotus keep pouring tons of cold water in this counter forum everyday.

Wah!! Already down to RM1.19 (my predicted lower limit). Will it break this lower limit & go lower next week? or will it bounce up from RM1.19 & head back to RM1.32? If it is moving like yo-yo then it may bounce up..... must watch the price movement closely next week.

@i3lurker: Last April 9, I went to Thailand for 1 week holidays during the Songkran festival. I was holding some SAPNRG shares (forgot how much) at 51 sen per share. When I came back from holidays on April 17, the share price was suddenly 75 sen per share. I sold off everything the next morning.... earn several thousand RM (more than enough to cover all my 1 week holiday expenses in Thailand). Hehehe.... if I think the price is very low already, I will purposely leave the shareholding & go on holidays without worry.

Aha! Closed at RM6.20; must ask him to move up then only he will move up 6 sen, otherwise only up or down 2 sen (what a slow counter).

Can CIMB please move up a bit faster or not..... other bank counters already up 20%.

According to Bursa's statistics, only 37% of counters r green... the rest 63% r red; everyday like that for the past 4 or 5 years ----> that's y someone here said buy what also die what.

SAPNRG may eventually go back up to 60 sen but NOT within this 1 or 2 weeks; b4 that it will go DOWN first due to the upcoming QR (I think next week) which will show RM100+ million losses. Better don't jump in again even if the price drop to 40 sen (unless u r planning to average down to 35 sen). If the price come close to 37 sen then mayb can take the risk to enter (less downside risk).

Hehehe... we will see who wins in this trade war; it can't b both sides also win.... somebody must lose a lot in this trade war.... either US lose or China lose.

If spinninglotus' explanation is correct then every country in the whole world should put up 25% tariff on all imported goods.... good for government (more income from import duty), good for all businesses, good for world trade, etc..... they should teach spinninglotus principle of economics in all the universities in the whole world.

The US, DJ & S&P 500 has been in the hottest bull market for the past 7 or 8 years but it does not correlate to our Bursa's KLCI (we have been in the worst flat market for the past 4 or 5 years) mainly due to 1MDB and many other related money leaking devices.

The KLCI may not crash but it may stay flat like during the past 4 years due to a highly speculated recession that may happen in 2019. Even if the whole world stock market may go up & up in 2019.... our KLCI & most of our stocks may b flat or red.
