CPO down and FGV showing signs of revival...

no point looking at individual FPSO value as we buy BA ie sum of parts.

#niki.. i agree with U on the NPV of each FPSO goes down as it means the value has translated to cash or lower debt and increasing net BA values. but in this case BA value remain the same and in some instances lower (only possible if BA pays DV or cash losses somewhere else). I am not looking at FPSO NPV but the sum of parts... net of debt... and there is no terminal value for BA as its charters all has an expiry date after extension.

I have left BA. sold all my holdings as I heard some top shareholders collectively holding more than 50M shares have exited and are still selling. They have lost hope in BA.

I also checked with some Finance Experts and they also confirmed that the analyst valuation on DCF is wrong and its more like a Future Cash Value of BA and not NPV of BA.

those holding on pls do ur own homework on the valuation which the analyst have presented... if its NPV based on DCF the value MUST go up every Q or else new problems have croped up every Q and have kept the value down.

I am feeling very jittery on BA. Just worried if the so called expert analyst knows whats they are doing. the numbers doesnt add up.

there is no terminal rate for BA as all its contracts expire on a certain date.
also if discounted cashflow the value should only increase over time.

GentSG is draging GB down.

the firm order book is 10B so say opex 40% its 6B cash flow.
extension is also abt 10B and opex say 80% is 2B... so over the next 10 yrs BAs cash generated should be 8B less debt 3B is only balance 5B or 80 sen.. how can the NPV today is 80 sen based on most analyst report. its only 80 sen in 10 yrs.

another thing I notice from analyst report. the NPV on discounted cashflow remains the same every quater. how can this be? NPV supposed to be increasing every quater based on discount rate. can anyone comment.

some clown has unloading BIG time since late April when it broke the 58 sen. only reprive was when the Q1 resukts was announced... even then selling was still heavy. are we missing out something

Is someone selling big way? every morning BA price tries to wake up but by 10am it will be sold down. anyone has insight of whats happening.

the debt issue is good news. being able to borrow at 5.15% for a 10-year bond is very good. shows the market confidence in GB.

58 has always been a support and resistance... need to charge past that.

last Q it was already 350M before the huge depreciation took it to negative. with no surprises we can expect the same at worst case

anyway from IPO, the owner is promoting as if FF is local milk...when in IPO doc he says only 10% is local milk....and 90% is actually imported milk from Oz without paying tax. Soon, there will be a Hugh tax damage... hope the promoter can manage this.

milk price globally is UP... can anyone share how much FF produces internally vs. the sales.. based on IPO doc, they only produce less than 15% of the milk they sell. have they moved up? sometimes, I wonder why own a cow, i.e., another living soul when it's easier to just buy Milk... let's enjoy the milk and not the cow.

the non CPO bz is MSM and others. so we can enjoy stable DV from CPO bz and excitement from other bz.

with MSM turnaround is now established, FGV will move ahead. after June, FGV will fly as the GO contemplated is about 2.00 or else the split btwn CPO bz and other bz will happen and will get u more than 2.00...let's pray the spilt happens and FGV remains listed so we can enjoy the dividends from the pure CPO bz.

very easily, BA will make 400M PAT for Q1. even the past Q4 was 380M before the 500M impairment....
with lower depreciation as they have written down 500M in Q4 this Q1, we may see higher PAT or an EPS of close to 7 sen/Q.
based on TA, R1 is still 58 sen and R2 is 63 sen... above 63 is 70+

anyone has insight of Q results.. I believe it may be the largest profit made by BA.

I also believe 1Q2024 profit may be the best ever... remember last Q the numbers were the best but got hit by a crazy accounting write down... as long as no surprises this Q1 may surpass even Q4 profit w/out write down as interest and depreciation cost would be lower.
