#MOBA... I didn't say CPO will be 2500 anytime soon. My advice is IF the CPO goes to 2500, UP can pay max 1.00 if U are still happy.. just hang on and in the meantime collect the high DV whilst CPO stays above 3000

All depends on your view on CPO price, too. But if you are prepared to sit on RM1.00 annual DV if CPO is down to 2500, just buy and keep over time better than buying a property for investment.

Every quarter, the value increases by 3 sen... with firm contract of 10B and Option of another 10B... just sit and enjoy the ride. Enterprise Value (EV) today is 8B.... in next 2.5Y debt fully paid... and price will be 1.20 to match the same EV. That's 20% yield... buy and enjoy the ride

#kohcl, yes, u r right. But the 37M shares bought under SIPP, pls see the announcement. So SIPP is still active, and Johor Royalty is still involved.

YTLP recently bought Ranhil via SIPP power, i.e., its JV Co with Sultan Johor. Looks like the deal with Ranhill is a done deal with the support of Johor royalty. Ranhill to go big into power and data center in Johor.

#speakup... I didn't bring Sultan into Ranhill but YTL did. Pls see the change of shareholding announcement in Ranhill.. and you will see buyer was SIPP.

Tq niki, pls update us if there is any development. I don't think BA may make any announcement, and if they do, it will be after a few days like they always end up doing.

Goreng goreng also those who want to sell can sell. Happy investing.

Even if first oil is out today, India is 2.5 hrs behind. Also is there a requirement for BA to make an announcement? Is it significant, especially when ASV is an associate company. Does anyone know the daily charter rate for ASV

UP always sells 3M contracts. They don't do spot. Unless they changed their plans and started spot. They know their bz better. We just collect the DV and enjoy our cold beer.

Francis is a player. He will play his game ... now collecting it cheap via Nominees... once ready will launch GO at 1.20 to 1.50... he has strike a deal with Hamdan. YTL always wants 100% of an asset.

YTL won't play with the "dirty" brothers.. what is the benefit ..wait for old man to die only then can remove brothers and fly.n

#dam82.. it will come down by 80 sen after DV of 80 sen.. so let the negative comments have a field day enjoying their prediction. UP pays good DV. After 10 years paying 1.8 avg per year .. even price is 15... I am happy... and so will the negative commenters...

#speakup... dream on.. It's just another bank...just coz it's cheap doesn't mean it's good. Just like our affin... but mbsb market cap is more than affin... or even Alliance... logic will tell its overpriced

Will take easily 24 mths to clear the excess manufacturing capacity. That's if non of them add more capacity. TG and Harta has shut down some capacity all these has to comeback into operation before Gloves can make decent money to justify current valuation.

China still sells Gloves cheaper than Msia. How to compete. The great profit enjoyed during pandemic made many Chinese companies to venture into Gloves and now overcapacity.

Sorry #dam82 that I got ur msg wrong. Enjoy the ride. UP is always generous with their DV. 90% of profit. They keep remaining cashflow for replanting 4% of their total estate.

Need BNM approval. See how long MBSB and MIDF to get approval..its is a long haul before any announcement.

Hence why GentS kept their cash pile. With this plans cleared it makes sense for GentS to move ahead.

#MM, this was already part of their licence requirement to perform expansion at a certain period. Its not a surprise to many fund managers who follow GentS. Only to a retailer its a news but its already part of the licence when SG Govt gave them the right to start a gaming bz.

Next target for a deal after Bplant is Affin. After this GO, Swak will buy over Affin to help LTAT repay its debts.

RWLA debt service will be a hit. USD5b invested there via borrowing. @ 6% its USD300M per annum or USD75M per Q. That's the big problem.

Well said, Niki. No one expected Karken failure too. Hence the reason it trades at a discount to fair values.
