having a misleading website is a big problem. it shows how badly they are managed. if anyone can go and change these crucial information on their website shows how their IT controls are.

Niki when did u realise this. or is it a mistake at their website. pls clarify with company and keep us posted.

Olombendo is easily worth 4B as per most analyst reports... say sell 50% = 2B will pay off all debts.

5.20 next resistance and than 6.50.... hold on tight.
1 month ago | Report Abuse
same goes to HLB and HLFG and OSK and RHB... whatever HLFG gets from HLB they pay out and whatever OSK gets from RHBCap they pay out

there is a bit extras from GentP DV and it's other Msian ops. all GentB overseas ops DV normally stays overseas. so no FX risk.

GentM dv will always be GentBs dv. if GENTM pays 6 sen GENTB also pays 6 sen...its always same. the amount of GENTM shares in GentB is almost same as GentBs paid up. that's how GentB manages its cashflow.

For sale U don't need approval of BNM unless U sell to a party who will end up with more than 5%
1 month ago | Report Abuse
#ling you are right and Swak and LTAT as announced by Abang Jo has already written to BNM for approval. Hence the delay.
1 month ago | Report Abuse
for anyone to buy more than 5% of Ambank need BNM approval. so as want Contarian said and reported by Star its bought by public institutions. no one will emerge as substantial shareholder with more than 5%. that's why ANZ can't sell Ambank to Swak coz the process will require BNM. ANZ sell in market to institution is faster.
1 month ago | Report Abuse
the buyers of Ambank shares are institutional.. any who buy more than 5% will require BNM approval and this process can't be done via a book building exercise/placement. so don't expect any new substantial shareholder. as what Contarian said its all public institutions.

article clearly says LTAT will be 2nd largest shareholder, so it's confirmed Swak will be No.1.
If LTAT remains No.2 shareholder to ride the upside, it means price will fly much higher before they make more money.

Great news. even though financially this doesn't impact BA much but improves its credibility. Hope to see improvement in market values.

#niki, with this can we confirm the "first oil offtake" from ASV done?. the risk of non delivery by ASV is over?
1 month ago | Report Abuse
sorry had to delete as its not meant for this forum
1 month ago | Report Abuse
who controls ASV... not BA but their Indian partner... how to control when U own 30%... this ASV is not important to BA... even the debt is already a project debt ie no recourse to BA and not consolidated. let's hope for new projects for BA where it controls.

as I have repeatedly say ASV is just an associate. the Q4 numbers is without ASV...yet BA achieved highest operating profit. ASV is just a small number to BA. let's not bark on the wrong tree.. if BA can produce same Q4 results (ex impairment obviously)...in Q1 surely we r at 65sen band .. ASV is just a branding purpose.
1 month ago | Report Abuse
true #Lube... looks like results not important.
1 month ago | Report Abuse
GentS made an impairment charge, so exclude impairment its up also. Next Q all GentB will make 500M. I was more worried abt GentM and it performed well.
1 month ago | Report Abuse
bad results.. price doesn't drop. wonder why or should I say, price now a factor of Swak deal and not earnings.
1 month ago | Report Abuse
my bad I was overly Conservative... wanted to buy closer to my last buying price at 48 and 49...anyway congrats to all those who bought and took the bear by its b*lls. let's see it break 63 soon.
1 month ago | Report Abuse
if not for the impairment..BA would be now above 63.
1 month ago | Report Abuse
soon once all the confusion is over... it will be back above 60. this who have sold yesterday should accumulate now.
1 month ago | Report Abuse
worst may be over... couldn't load up at 50... Happy with what I have. back to 60 soon.
1 month ago | Report Abuse
looks like the worst may be over with most analyst saying higher operating cashflow per quarters...vs highlighting the impairment. the impairment is neutral
1 month ago | Report Abuse
the other 3 is just for name sake but cash flow is contolled by the Indians.. strip them off... hence BA trades at a discount to NTA..... now u know why NTA is not important... I prefer BAs NTA at zero... but cashflow strong...
1 month ago | Report Abuse
BA has only 3 FPSO and not 7... that's where we are.
1 month ago | Report Abuse
that's why I always say its abt cashflow... don't look at NTA to buy a stock.
1 month ago | Report Abuse
the impairment simply says @ past Armada has miss led with 50M extra paper profits.
1 month ago | Report Abuse
however, as far as bz is concerned, all is good. let hold on and buy more at 50 sen.
1 month ago | Report Abuse
niki, I share ur frustration with the bad management. even the board must be taken to task. when u have an accounting policy, u should stick till the end and not move the goal post halfway. credibility down the drain.
1 month ago | Report Abuse
the 3 under JV is not consolidated so only 4 and soon 3 than 2 if we discount Karken.
1 month ago | Report Abuse
yes niki, very silly unless the management has other agenda. why now, when they knew it all along..credibility issue.
1 month ago | Report Abuse
hope goes to 50 and we long term holder can load up..
1 month ago | Report Abuse
let weak holders sell off.. which company has 1.5B cashflow per annum... that itself gives BA a strong footing
1 month ago | Report Abuse
niki, Karken failure impacted the cashflow hence price dropped to 42 sen.. this is just accounting impact not cashflow.
1 month ago | Report Abuse
the decision to impair asset now is good so the future profit will b strong.
1 month ago | Report Abuse
Karken failure has cashflow impact hence the collapse. this is just accounting impact on FA.
