IBs' research reports are handy when doing our own homework but let's not get carried away with their TPs.

Shernius, bonus issue will not affect EPS because at ex-date, share price will be adjusted downwards according to the ratio of the bonus issue. PP, however, will dilute the EPS because share price do not get adjusted upon listing of the new shares.

Either bonus issue or free warrants is fine because both have similar desired effect. Bonus issue also entails to issuing of additional warrants for WB, WC, and WD (i.e. if you're a warrant holder also). This was what happened when Vivocom (ex-Instacom) announced bonus issue in Nov 2015 which resulted in adjustment to the exercise price & add'l warrants being issued.

If they're promoting the company and yet having few contracts to show then I would be worried. That was what happened to the old Instacom. Lotsa hype but no contracts to show. The rest is history.

It is not only the earnings that is important, the cashflow is equal if not more important. Otherwise, they've to keep doing fund raising and dilute the EPS. They've RM89m due from customer (shown in balance sheet) and -ve operating cashflow. Going forward, I wish to see this being translated to real cash.

Ayoyo, u've got a point. Nevertheless, it is a good start for Vivocom with Q1 and also the contracts secured to-date. However, it is more important for Vivocom to continue its momentum otherwise it'll be like the old Instacom.

I think the data and info in IB research reports are useful for reference but please ignore the TP because it is too subjective and can be manipulated.

Good earning numbers but personally I would like to see better cashflow in the next few quarters. I also like how the management is engaging with the public/shareholders.

if cannot wait then sell la...simple as that, no point bitching here coz it won't help to increase the share price.

But one thing's for sure is they've dipped into the inventory for sale of gold.

Vincent Tan, like I said, it could be due to a fantastic 1Q2016 result leaked. We can't discount that right? It's either a fantastic result or syndicate playing up the stock.

Today's volume almost 5x the avg 4 wks volume...perhaps fantastic results for 1Q2016 leaked? Can't think of any other reasons. Don't think DCA fees reduction can induce such a rise in price & volume.

Today's 15.5 sen road block very geng. Blocked a total of 4 times.

FY15 mining revenue of 224m vs FY14's 34m already proven gold is there to be mined. Once the RI cash is fully utilized, we'll start to see significant profits. About RM32m RI cash was utilized in Q4 for mining expansion. Let's supposed if this isn't utilized this past qtr, then FY15 mining PBT margin would have been ~18% = (8m + 32m)/224m.

Even if I go with a very conservative stand by taking the recent net operating profit of 94.5m (i.e. excl the forex gain & deferred tax), annualize it, and assign a PE of only 6x, I still get ~55 sen.

Hence, 30 sen is still a very low price to buy in.
