@SSTT, its expected. buy on rumours, sell on news ma. so far so good for day1. need some time to quench all the sellers. profit taking is very normal in this case. some might wanna go grocery shopping in the weekend or clear credit card debts, some might wanna be patient and catch a bigger haul for Christmas or CNY perhaps?

told ya there is a high chance of upside for a better than corresponding Q2 last year of EPS 0.16. this now brings GENETEC rolling 4 quarters PER to 6.1, compared to 8+ yesterday. should investors/traders is confident it is worth beyond this value, even at yest closing PER of 8, it could be now worth 0.26 now!

JN88 - still not too late to chase. technology counters in ACE market really not much undervalued gems yet. I identified RGB still got room to grow compared to its mature peers. Genetec is one of the few which is still quite "undiscovered", but of course if you manage to get it at 19 cents then thats better margin of safety and higher profit margin for you :)

imagine Genetec is traded around tat PER of its peers. it can easily be RM0.40!

coming quarter result should be good. last year's same quarter was just at EPS 0.16 cents. the last 3 quarters were 0.44, 0.54 and 1.28. the upside chance is very big. chances of it announcing a quarter better than 0.16 is very likely. this could translate to a even lower PER and provides more room for operators to justify a rally up.... agree with Bruce5133 go go go genetec go ^^

@jl88, yes, its hard to gauge Genetec movement. the fundamentals are there. now the question is WHEN do the sharks/big operators decide their next chess set move. do they wanna accumulate lower? or is it time to break a new high? your guess is as good as mine :)

PER 13.5 now at RM1.66. hopefully can recover back to her glorious days trading at PER 16-18 last time. that would be RM1.96-2.21 :)

really cannot read the big players' mind and movement lately on this counter.

Franklin will be just happy with a petty 8-10cents gains per share. look at the substantial shareholder announcements. as long as Franklin is there in queue, dun expect a bullish bias to engulf upwards.

big players blocking the way. they are accumulating at the bottom 7.0 or 7.5 cents and at the same time queue up to sell at 8.5 cents. those jackpot 20cents are just nonsense created by spinners to lure you in a stagnant counter

when IFCA falls into hibernation mode, seems like Priva also follow suit. ZZzZZZ... big players bila mau start engine?

at PER of 7.62, it is very attractive as it is below most of its technology peers in the ace market. taking a conservative valuation at PER 10, the share price would be RM0.24. EPS seems to be improving in the last few quarters, looking forward to some positive announcement next week, and most importantly, when the big players decide to start the engine. we are all waiting....
