The reason for selling AAC was the planes were fully depreciated, and its old. When it was announced Airasia wasn't growing as fast, now its the best time with all the positive environment ahead. If it is further delay or cancel, i won't be surprised. Probably Airasia asks for more and get rejected??

It was said to be completed by end of first quarter. Well just wait and see.

MYR continue to be strong, probably touch 3.8 sooner than expected. Market seems to be very happy about it, with Airasia share price breaking new highs every day.

Expect Airasia to make 1.3-1.4b in Q4, 700m from operation, 700m gain on disposal.

One great news for Airasia is, MYR seems to be more resilient than Crude prices.

Assuming 800M operating profit from QR, then 20% payout is around 12c also. Plus the special dividend of course.

EngineeringProfit, talk is cheap! The CEO keeps saying how good is the future, like it is a sure thing and very easy, but cannot deliver. The company is losing money now. Negative PE. It is worse than PE of 1000 if a company is losing money.

Oil production goes on every moment, so consistent cashflow should be one of the characteristic in this business.

If you look at MIE's report years ago. They aim to produce 12,000 barrels a day from EMIR field, max was around 6,000 barrels only, and then oil production steadily decline. Oil prices were declining steadily at the same time though.

Reach still owes MIE lots of money. And its charging interest now. Interest payment is a big burden for the company.

Of course there are still plenty of oil underground, but does the company have the financial muscle and ability to drill it quickly.

Or else get enough loan to sail through?

The key is still oil production level, which the management has been reluctant to share information.

Management just talk about how good is the future......

The best i can find is MIE stating end June 2017 production level is 959 barrels per day. Plus the gas etc etc probably works out to be around 20 million per quarter.

From the outset, probably next QR should be slightly less than 20 million, until new wells performing....

Acupuncture, Airasia is consistently making 2b a year. So give it 15 times pe, will be a 30b company. Share price should be rm9.

Airasia is growing 15 percent a year, so give it 15 times PE, should worth rm9 a share.

Airasia has planned to divest non-core businesses and IPO malaysia Airasia, special dividend of about rm2.2. Plus ordinary dividend of about 15c. For a company that size, say yield is 3%, will be valued at .15/.03+2.2=7.2. That assume there is 0 growth.

Airasia is still dirt cheap.

This year Airasia will be like Hengyuan last year, probably share price will overshoot a lot.

Much of the fund has been channeled into call warrants last year. Now left one, and probably nothing new will come out. That means all IBs firmly believe Airasia will rise at least 30% in the coming 8 months or so.

In the last five market days, it was the counting days for C53. I have learned that the first two days was high volume day, so CIMB didn't "out hand". The last three days there were action witnessed, because volume was low. As Airasia grows bigger and has higher trading volume, it increases the cost of PRESSING.
