There was supposed to be a TWIN SHIP tower in Jesselton Quay. I hate they changed the design.
Jesselton Quay is just started to build. The economy is pretty bad right now. That means a lot of unknown ahead.
I would prefer Asiapac at the moment, because it's a proven success, deeper discount in the stock price too. Whether Jesselton Quay can challenge Imago, shall see after three years.

Every month 2-3kg of Gold Dore (not even gold), where is the need to increase production?

SugarBun started as a restaurant operator. Business went down so they bought a small oil field rights and renamed Borneo Oil. As Oil prices went down few years ago, they changed their focus to GoldMine. They made some money from investors pretending to trade gold, lure investors into the right issue. (75% of the right issue money is gone by now, amazing!) Every few years draw few hundred millions from investors, that's fat!!
In fact after so many years of operation, Sugar Bun's food is quite good now. Their Broster chicken is very nice. But they just cannot control themselves from making quick bucks from the market.

For those who are not familiar with CCK, i share briefly.
So this 張仕國 was a poor boy who became a fishmonger at a young age. Surprisingly his selling skill is so good, soon his fish sales is more than the whole Pasar combined. He is talented also! To find technology to keep fish fresh, he went to Japan to buy refrigeration facilities to keep fish frozen then he can do export.
His business expands later to chicken, prawn, and shipbuilding. Since he was so wealthy and kind, most chicken producers became his contract farmers and subsequently CCK dominates the chicken market of the whole Sarawak. The shipbuilding company was back-door listed in Singapore.
But since he became the leader of the World FuZhou Association, he went around the world to promote FuZhou-ship and left his business behind.

Hi, bursagoinglong,
Of course it has to do with the boss. Plenty of other shipbuilders surviving.
I mean i salute Tiong to go around the world and do the FuZhou thing, but sooner or later he got to pay the price for not overseeing the business.
I understand CCK has a strong, stable business in Sarawak, they are trying to expand in Sabah but so far not very successful. They have operating procedure that is way, way, way below industry average, that i vomit even thinking of it.
I would agree their prawn business is done professionally though!
Coming year 2018, competition will intensify, you don't know you can survive the same as 2017.

It's a black hole.
You can try to check the international price for log, multiply by production, see if the revenue is in the right range?
Don't play play with S* company, you must check it carefully. Last time you are supposed to tiok already guessing wrong on bornoil gold production level.

JN88, thanks for the news!
Years ago when i was researching Evergrande group of China. I think they are right in developing homogeneous products across whole of China but share price was always down and flat. Suddenly these two years share price spike up and XU JIA YIN became China's richest man.
I would hope this happen to Airasia too. Some day, TF will be one of the richest man in Malaysia. And Tessapon will be one of the richest in Thailand.

The real problem with the QR is not only about the impairment loss. The management fail to convey important messages such as the situation in Japan? How is the Jeju resort law suit going? How is Vietnam NFO venture doing? Probably all doing not well and they want to hide it.
Bloody noob shit collect skin lah!

It's a fair write up. Not the best timing yet.
After reading your post, follow up a little bit on Nam Cheong, share price left 2 Singapore cents. Pity.
Luckily Tiong still got Cck and City Mall, Kk. Otherwise he would have been broke. The lesson is a simple, keep an eye on your business.

With US shale production going towards 10m bpd, sooner or later OPEC member will try to cheat, which will lead to collapse of the oil cut deal.
AAC deal is still pending, my guess is q4 will make 1b. So my plan is to buy more in Jan 18.
Had a look at AAX, still sucks.
Happy investing.

This time you really blew it! Haha!
Why you come up with this article is strange. Your behaviour is like KYY keeps on pursuing Xinquan.
First, Supermx is not growing. Doesn't justify PE of 20 at all.
Second, Supermx is a survival/victim. The Big Three are winners. When will Supermx being takeover? Probably not so easy! Because Supermx can't keep up with the speed of the Big Three.

As more and more plants maturing, total production is actually dropping year after year. This is a wide spread phenomena with all these smaller plantation companies.
After 30 years, there will be few plantation companies left.
Going towards failure.

Whey Whey and others, please don't provoke poor Richardlee. His other identities seems to be fading away. Maybe he can live like a normal person after a while.
Please pity this poor soul, have mercy on him.
Now BwC reappear, he is splitting again, oh my god! Not so long Investo will come again, double oh my god!

Imago is a fantastic development but not yet profitable. The company owns the whole mall so the main expenses shouldn't be that high. The interest expense for the whole company is 30m or so but how come rental income of 40-50m still incurred loss.
I observe there are more cars into the mall than car park available. In few years to come there should be no competition can challenge imago.
Management indicates are going to raise car park fees. I think it's totally wrong. They should partition the car parks and charge more for premium ones.
However I think 16c is the bottom, even if it takes few years to get to 50c is still a good investment.

information needs to be articulated.
I didn't lose money in Xingquan because I walk to see if the shops are really there. It simply wasn't there. It's important to cross check the information with facts.

Share a bit about the latest spike.
Nanyang has cited Bloomberg saying AAC deal is close to finalising with Everbright China. I couldn't find the article in Bloomberg though, but it's on Sina news flash. It also says KOTAM no longer relevant.
Now with 2 bidders left. Should Everbright fail to get approval for investing from the China Government, there is one option remaining.
Everbright is headed by powerful people, so I guess gaining approval is not a problem. Everbright has a listed subsidiary in HK specialising in aircraft leasing. So it makes sense for Everbright to buy stake in AAC. The only problem i see is the age profile for its own aircraft is only 3.8 years old. AAC's is older.
For me, I think sell or no sell doesn't make much difference. Q4 is going to make a billion, and it's growing.

I reread the QR, really disappointing.
Got such item as "advances to corporate shareholder" lagi, zzz!
They are going to revalue the oil reserve (which i think its a waste of money). Its like another 1MDB (keep revaluing the land). Sooner or later, they will sell the assets (oil reserve) to repay debts.
Also, i notice invested RM8 only last quarter. Impossible to achieve 5,000 bpd.

You sell Petronm and buy what? Cepat? That's how most "smart" investors fail.
Anyway, Hengyuan is a one off play and petronm is the long term play. You sell petronm and keep Hengyuan?

If you want sometime to have value, to exist long enough, then you need it to be the key element to others. For example, to marry the princess, you must possess 100 bitcoin. Etc.

Nolah, Bitcoin is not interlink with the physical economy, not much at least. However, the Bitcoin surge shows good liquidity. When the economy collapses, which means liquidity also limited, Bitcoin will fall for sure. So, i guess its the other way round ==> Crisis brings down bitcoin.

oil will continue to surge for a while, shale is not going to be massive in quite some time.
For me, Airasia can sustain high oil price better than anyone else in the world. 15% saving on fuel plus hedging enough to cancel surging oil price In the next few years, shall see more failing airlines.
It's time to kill.
