Note :
I recalled the share price of Supermx in 2020, when Supermx is included in FTSE's Asia-Pacific index and also included as a component stock in FBMKLCI index, the share price of Supermx moved up north from 3.60 to a high of 24.50 in 2020.

Will this phenomenon happens to YTLPower in 2023 ?

When the profit of YTLpower is good, the management of YTLPower is very kind to all shareholders to give out high yield dividend around 6% to 7%.
When the share price is below 1.43 sen in 2010, 10 sen dividend was given out.
The dividend yield is 7%.
Tan Sri promised to give out a dividend of 15 sen in 2024.

I hope YTLPower might be added to FBMKLCI component stocks in December's review.
This will add weight to the stock.

I worked very hard to verify your calculation and also my calculation, I believe EPS=0.40 in FY2024 is possible even without taking into consideration of your new projection of "Yes" would contribute EBITDA of RM420 million to YTLP a year.
If I assume the contribution of "Yes" plus extra profit from power generation in FY2024, my EPS projection is ranging from 0.41 to 0.56.
I do not want to be too bullish, hence I will consider EPS=0.41 is good enough for the share price of YTLP to achieve 4.00 in 2024.

I have been a remisier for 30 years.
I have seen many of my friends and clients made multi million profit from KLSE.
They are all investors and use the strategy to buy and hold to make profit.
I learned all these strategies from them to make my multi million profit from KLSE.
I never seen any contra player made million profit from KLSE, do not even mention multi million profit from KLSE.
Decide yourself what type of player you want to be.

You can say it is almost bottom at 1.373.
I hope to see a new upcycle after August 2023, I also hope it is a long upcycle and a bull market for FBMKLCI after a long downtrend since July 2014.

We bought it above 1.00 and my first target price is 2.10.

Brent crude oil will range from USD70 to USD90 is good enough. Too high Brent crude oil price is not good for worldwide economy.
The most important thing I prefer to see is a bull market in KLSE, KLSE is in a bear market since July 2014 for a period of 10 years.

We should see the light at the end of the tunnel, a few good signals have appeared.
1. The Malaysian economy expanded by 5.6% in the first quarter of 2023 (Q1 2023), comparing favourably with regional growth such as Indonesia (5%), China (4.5%) and Vietnam (3.3%). The Q1 2023 growth performance contributed strongly towards the achievement of the 2023 whole year forecast of 4.0% to 5.0%. To me it is good news and it should benefit the performance of KLSE.
2. I believe our unity government will perform well in the 6-state elections to convince all investors that the worst is over. No more perception of unstable federal government.
3. The latest report on US dollar index, the index falls below 100 points. It means the USD will drop further against RM. The conversion of USD to RM is at 4.53 today. It means foreign funds will stop to flow out from KLSE.
4. The economic data of Malaysia showed a big improvement in May 2023, the inflation rate is reduced to 2.8% which is a good news to KLSE.

Unlikely to see losses of 20% to 30% like last 2 years
But our aim is to make money....not to see less losses

If the second half of 2023 is a bull market in KLSE, I believe the performance will be positive in 2023.
Hopefully, I can see there is a gain in every stock I selected in this competition.
