No doubt technology is the future but stock valuation overstretched due to the cheap money heavily pumping into this sector.

We can't compare Technology with Glove sector. But share price wise will be expecting to follow the tail of Glove after the fancy party gains of few hundred % or thousands % in the last 2 years.

1. FED hike interest rates at faster pace due to the high US inflation in the latest announcement.
2. FED QE tapering.
3. Technology has witnessed bull run since Covid emerged in 2020 whilst other sectors share prices remains undemanding.

Pang72. There's a different between Glove and Chips la. Glove production can be ramped up within 6 months. New Chips facilities needs about 30 months. OSAT and EMS are staying at the mid and bottom of the semiconductor supply chain. They don't have price bargaining power like chip makers, almost top of the value chain.

Currently, chips supply bottleneck means what? Is there any implications to the revenue growth to the OSAT and ATE or related players in year 2022 and 2023? TSMC remains enjoying good revenue and profit growth as shortage of supply has created an opportunity to increase their ASP.

Sorry to say that a real long-term investor very hardly keep their mind occupied with up and down of the share prices. They would rather spend the time elsewhere to avoid being influenced by the short term volatility.

Most of the long term investors don't even interested to spare their time here looking for information. A real long-term investor mindset is far different from traders whether short or mid term. Benchmarking is a way to understand the risks associated to a company within the industry.
