Yes, oil palm price will up as long as El Niño, La Niña and soy been price up.
But Calvin, I want to ask you a second opinion about buying a property in iskandar.
Project name is Melia residence. Developer is Uem . House type is double storey terrace free hold 22x75. Price is ard 589k including lawyer fee. Nearby tuas check point and future high speed rail station. Can give your final advise?

Try to ask for a 5% early bird discount from UEM. If not try to secure the best unit facing morning sun. Also secure a unit furthest from the Plus Highway just it.

Good luck.

A 22 x 75 2 storey house so near to Spore 2nd Link is hard to find.

Taann has lots of logs. So try to find 100% pure oil plam stocks like Rsawit, Th Plant, B plant, Kwantas or MHC Plant.

I just spent the last 10 minutes looking and thinking what is the built up size of Melia?

Maybe I can get it by calling UEMS office tomorrow.

Anyway, there is now a 2 storey house going for auction soon. The house is 2 storey and located in Leisure Farm. There is a river at the back of the house. Auction Reserve price is just slightly over Rm400,000. I don't know how the bidding will go.

Current advertised for these Bayou homes in Leisure Farm are priced around Rm600K to Rm700K and I don't know what is the actual selling price.

Good morning Lk036,

2006 sq ft divides by 2 = 1,003 sq ft for each floor

1,0003 divided by 22 ft wide = 45.5 ft length

So 75 ft long minus 45.5 ft body length = 29.5 ft

Assuming 5 ft for the back there is a generous 24.5 ft for the front porch car parking space.

Chua expects an overhang increase in 2016.

Calvin, morning. Low land is bad for oil plam and also housing. I think if La Niña happen in malaysia, oil palm output will b worse cause fruit harvest not able to carry out at flooded area. Moreover fruit which exposed to rain n water will damage easily compare when dry.
Calvin, do you know melia residence area is prone to flood or is it quite save even heavy n long La Niña?

Melia Residence is located directly opposite Leisure Farm. Its lands are at least 10 to 15 feet above the Truck Road. So it is safe from flooding. Since it is located so near to Plus Highway the only concern is noise.
