According to CIMB, the Leasing unit generated about RM130 mil net profit

If the buyer is willing to pay RM4 billion, it is valuing it at 30 times PER

If Air Asia doesn't sell, it is stupid

The value of aac does not RELY ON PE per se. It is huge order of a320 with Airbus. It has 307 orders of a320. With the current huge demand of a320 anyone wants to buy a320 will have to talk to tony. You place an order of a320 today you could only get it 5 years later. Imagine if the airlines of Asia in immediate expansion where could they get the a320 ? They will have to lease of even buy it from aac.
