market must be really dull or really passionate for the king of fruit...Just to add, buy from the orchard owner every year, every season...if you still get cheated after 30 years then you are the 'king' of fool.....

Don't bargain. Tell the dirian seller to give you the best durian abailable. Be his loyal regular repeat customer. You will definitely enjoy the best durian this way everytime. This is point no.8 in Calvin's list. As for the other points, you can choose to ignore since you have a certain and high probability method in tasting the best durian in the heap.
