Frankly speaking, if you can improve your presentation in terms of alignment & colours used, it will be easier for readers' reading.

It's Information Age...Stone age is over. Investors are more educated nowadays unlike those herd 10 to 20 years ago who was entirely relying on their brokers or research companies recommendations.

Thanks for sharing. Just a note on Cofco. Although China market is massive, instant noodle consumption is in terminal decline. Recent results from TingYi, the largest instant noodle maker in China is disappointing. Chinese are moving away from instant noodle in favor of healthier and more expensive alternatives like freshly prepared food as purchasing power and quality of life goes up. Also, China transition from an manufacturing based economy to a service based economy means less poor migrant workers, typically the biggest consumer of instant noodles. Having said that, organic imported instant noodles from Thong Guan are definitely a premium product and it may still be popular.

Everprosper Food Industries Sdn. Bhd. Key Developments
Thong Guan In Talks With COFCO
Feb 11 16
Thong Guan Industries Bhd (KLSE:TGUAN) is in talks to work with COFCO. “We have not decided on the joint-venture details. It could be equity participation in Everprosper Food Industries Sdn. Bhd., a new subsidiary of ours, which includes all related subsidiaries, or another new company we will form. It depends on the project size [of the organic instant noodles venture],” said Ang See Meng, Director of Thong Guan. COFCO, he said, has expressed its interest in taking up at least a 40% stake in the venture, which he expects to take off sometime in 2016.

Looks like it.

[of the organic instant noodles venture]

it is written there the word "instant noodles" though i personally prefer that the company focus what its does best rather than venturing into new unknown sector.

Hi jin hou, the word "instant" i interprete as skipping the process of rubbing the flour. Ready dry noodle packaged nicely for instant cooking..I'm looking at the ready product currently supply by everprosper. However, this pending verification though. I once watch a documentary of instant noodle (real instant noodle), the market is so huge. Again, 1.6 billiom population, 10% gao liao lo :-)..

I see it this way.

Wkitwing, everprosper has the expertise and fully automated machine. With such a small investment (Around 7 mil??)..bok 的过啦。。after all, everybody have to eat right?

Everprosper fy 2015 has increased it revenue about 50% to 1.5 mil if i remember correctly. Let treat the noodle biz as bonus..who know we strike toto? Cheers

jinhou, tguan product is more popular and well accepted, because it is not a food product that "made in china"...

Tingyi's top management is known as unscrupulous businessmen in Taiwan.... People suspect they have used the same trick to make more profit in China. It was widely publicized by the media 2 years ago and the brand was tainted with black marks.

Yistock. Malaysia's foods are much popular than China in terms of 'organic'. Our products are more reliable than many countries. At least, Malaysia companies won't use gutter oil to goreng instant noodles due plenty supply of organic palm oil. Tguan's organic noodles are expected to be selling well in China. haha
