Because those PRIMA homes can't be affordable by those low income earners and the banks didn't give loans to these categories of borrowers and hence the house open up to other categories of buyers.

RM 15,000 household income NOW eligible for PRIMA1 homes. ordinary people earning RM 5000 where got chance ? Banks will favour those > Rm 10,000 - 15,000 income bracket

another way to help take up rate for the "developer friend". PR1MA never serve the purpose anymore. Another year it will for monthly income below 50K
