Business depends on ECommerce Surge. By Fiber Optic cables

3) Warren Buffet of Berkshire
Knowledge acquired online by Optic Fiber. Of cource Warren could also read books. But much Company information now stored in CD or in the Cloud. So Fiber Optic cable again needed.

Who controlls OPCOM?

I think both DRB & OPCOM are in opposite political convictions

DRB is Pro BN while OPCOM belongs to Mukriz

However,

These are the facts you must know

1) OPCOM's has high barrier to entry. Manufacture of fiber optic cable is not like selling biscuits or tea/coffee.

2) TELEKOM is a pragmatic company. It seeks value for the Company. So it won't take risk for political consideration to affect its performance

3) Quite difficult for China Companies to break into this market as China trained workers cannot communicate in Malay. So Chinese workers are confined to stand alone HUge construction Projects like Forest City. How could they work side by side with local Malays installing last mile fiber optic cables if they can't speak Malay?

I think there is a lot of value in technology shares, new economy shares, RHB 25 jewels, steel, banks, finance....

and Mahathir cronies like Vincent Tan, DRB , Mui is not good hunting ground.

Other salient factors for OPCOM

1. It is CASH RICH. Almost 25 sen or more than 35% in CASH.

2. It has very little debt or gearing. So no fear of insolvency.

3. In lean times it still give out dividends. And in good times it is exceedingly generous with dividends. Usually more than twice that of Bank FD

4. And lately OPCOM has received over Rm300 millions Jobs Award. This will translate into a nice 25 sen to 30 sen PROFITS. SO CAN EXPECT ANOTHER NICE CASH PAYOUT SOON.

5.See Calvin recommended both OPCOM and HTPADU around same price just months ago.
HTPADU already declared a 5 sen dividend and price jumped 56% to 86 Sen now!

How high will OPCOM reach when a surprise CASH WINDFALL IS SUDDENLY ANNOUNCED?

This is not guess work but A SURE THING!

Answer:

Digital Free Trade Zone derives its business through buying and selling through Computer, Laptop or iphone.

As such more and more people will be encouraged to use the internet and iphone. Resulting in Govt setting up more and more HSSB (High speed Broad Band) Services to the higest peak of Gunong Tahan, the southern most tip of Peninsula Malaysia & even to the interior Kapit of Sarawak.

How much more FIBER OPTIC Cables will be needed?

Last time I called for a buy on Prestar at 46 sen because 8 highways need lots of guardrails from Prestar. Prestar now up by over 100%

So expect OPCOM to do very very well

Note:

For electricity transmission of TNB you need copper wires

For water you need water pipes

For internet transmission you need Fiber Optic cables

Calvin already studied Telekom's mode of leadership & the immense difficulty of China people doing HSBB last mile fiber optic installations in the kampungs and everywhere as they don't speak Malay.

And other Malaysia Companies already chicken out due to Dr. M being in power last time. So too late to set up rival Fiber Optic Company in Malaysia as barrier to entry is not worth the risk as OPCOM already has a monopoly.

Investing based on facts (not just hope only)

Last round after Opcom got Rm359 millions job orders it declares a Special Dividend of Rm225 a share.

The MayBank Manager who followed me to buy at 30 sen then couldn't believe her eyes.

A 30 sen share of Opcom can get a 22.5 sen dividend.

And now she has loaded up even more Opcom shares as Opcom already secured a Rm300 million job orders this round
