based on my 15 years experience, most of the stock that we take profit, no matter the gain is 20%, 50% or 100%, sure the share price will continue rally after we take profit.

Vice versa, most of the stock we choose not to take profit, no matter 100%, 50%, or 20%, sure the share price turn from profit to loss.
