Account is being used to raise funds for Spark Alliance HK, which helps cover legal and medical fees for protesters
“This client only stated that the account was for a commercial purpose. But in reality it is being used as a platform for raising funds. This doesn’t match the account’s stated purpose,” the source said.

“There has been a large amount of money going through this account every day, and the bank may have money-laundering concerns.”


"legal and medical fees for protesters" is just a front for financing the riots.

large amounts of drugs are found in HK , many of the rioters are high on drugs, its China's 21 century opium war................

drugs, democracy, freedom, sex, brain washed youths, combine that with British judges, foreign media as cheer leaders, CIA, NED, Soros, churches fear of China, schools teaching hate China doctrines......HK got cure?

If the riots continues n business close down, sooner or later the HKD/USD peg will break. Those ppl there will eventually end up with RMB.
But if u ask the rioters, they will surely tell u it won't happen.

what China can do is help HK to prosper such as the Greater Bay Area project, listing of Alibaba, financial sector reforms, curtailing the tycoons etc but will not risk the collapse of the Hang Seng....

The numbskulls in HK should have reached out to PRC abt the future of HK after 2047. The Basic Law does not spell out what will happen after that. Instead, they destroyed all the trust n goodwill. It is no brainer that Hk will just be another PRC city after 2047.

As for Macao, there is a chance for the 2 systems to continue with some modifications after the transition period of 50 years ends.
