China is too old and wise to ever want such a thing. China will never want to be super power, because it knows such an ambition depletes you and would bring troubles upon yourself. Let's be good neighbors, good friends, try and help each other. That is Chinese approach.

It's a very different mentality from that of the West, which has a missionary tradition. The Americans, without embarrassment, call themselves an exceptional power with a manifest destiny, which is to spread its values to the whole world. That's how it sees itself. The Soviet Union had the same self-conception. China, I don't believe, will ever have such an instinct. It is certainly not in its history. It's certainly not in its interest.

It is true that the US is used to being dominant everywhere in the world. I don't think China wants to take over the US position as the world's big brother. I think China is happy for the US to remain big brother so long as its own interests are not badly affected. There will be some inevitable conflict between the US and China and this will go on for many years. But one day the US will realize that China's nature is different from the nature of the US. And because the natures are different, there is a greater possibility of coexistence and cooperation. China should persist, because this will decide war and peace in the world.

Yeo: My view of democracy goes back to the essence of democracy, to the Greek origin of what democracy is - which is the people as master. Abraham Lincoln talked about government of the people, by the people, for the people. By this definition, China is a democracy.

China's philosophy about the moral basis of centralized governance goes back to Confucius and Laozi. How to govern is always at the center of Chinese philosophical thought. China will find its own way toward achieving the democratic idea.

The best democracy is the one which is for the people, of the people and by the people, according to its history and culture.

IF USA does not ring fenced China through Iraq, India, Singapore, Philippine, Japan and south Korea, China would not be so "military".

If USA's aircraft carrier fleet does not ply the South China Sea so very frequently, China would not be spending so much on military hardware...

what is wrong for one to develope her own defence mechanism when the enemy so wantonly instigate for a fight ?

The trade war is just a dumb move that will lead to inflation, the taxes imposed are paid by the local importers and the worse is the goods are still cheaper and there is no local manufacturer or supplier to replace. Only the ignorant are blowing the trumpet to make noise only.

China web army will say democracy is evil but repeatedly mentioning the wrongdoings of USA in the past.

US web army will say communism(some even socialism) is bad as dictatorship will eventually start a war against others.

To me, they are both evil. Just make sure you see things clearly unaffected by both sides.

Eradicating poverty is a truth in China. No doubt about that. A country that uses combat tactics to achieve what it wants, it will get what it wants, no doubt about that.

The recent frequent intrusion of Taiwan airspace by China's air muscles is also a truth. China's web army won't mention this as it is very men sia siu kan.

Recent China's web army is attacking Steve Bannon's female dog from Hong Kong. The truth is Steve Bannon doesn't represent USA.


You'll see China's web army is very hardworking. This is called combat tactic something very military.

Same things applied here, looked at Xin Jiang, Hong Kong they are not allowed to have own system to be run because they are minority, same things also can be applied here so minority can accept? Especially, the Ccp communism abandoned they own culture during cultural reformation times but claiming that they can represent whole world Chinese, for me it’s joke

In 2018, Xi upgraded himself to be a forever premiere.

So far he seems to be a good guy.

The national day of 2019 came with Xi displaying a lots of mass massacre weapons in the parade. Hope he doesn't mean what he was displaying to the world.

Just that the democratic system is under CCP (China Communist Party) which have a membership over 80m people mah!

To rise to the Party alpha leader like President Xi, u must join CCP and eventually get elected by the CCP to be the President loh...!!
