Surely Anwar is to be blamed. There is no future for siddeq or for muda if he stays in unity government. Anwar did not use him properly

A smarter Anwar can use siddeq more effectively in elections. Siddeq is a plus for elections not a negative

Even in Muda party itself, there are 2 factions now. One is pro PH and another faction by SS. Will be interesting to see should there be a party's elections.

The future of Malaysia politics that Anwar wants to build is already available in siddeq...young, educated, liberal, popular with voters u want to attract, very popular with malay girls, siddeq is a great catch for pn....if pn managed to catch siddeq.

If u are talking about principles then leaving unity government after the dnaa is a principle thing to do.
Remaining after dnaa would be for him politics not principle after dnaa

But the main thing about Malaysia politics is it is still very much a feudal politics. No royal blood no sponsor, meritocracy alone cannot go far in Malaysia politics. Feudalism and meritocracy are opposites. It seems Anwar does not recognise siddeq as an asset, in that case, siddeq says bye bye la.

U can say siddeq is young and no patience. But Anwar must take responsibility for the situation for sidelining muda in last two elections. Muda found itself under unfavorable circumstance after the last two elections

Posted by EngineeringProfit > 2023-09-11 09:58 | Report Abuse

AI must choose between umno or muda. What choice he got? How did muda perform then? Not his fault, right

Everybody must understand this is a unity govt. PH cannot have the final say on a lot of issues and policies. Next time give PH a stronger mandate so that we can reform this nation without having resort to making deals.

saddiq?? u guys see future in him? when he first get in power, he already in scandal. he was talented but fall into trap of politicians"
=============================

YES! Malaysia's future is in Saddiq's hand.
He is young and have decades ahead.
He is smarter than most of the wannabe young politicians from other parties who are thick in racism and religiously extreme.
His wisdom grows each day, while others are past shelf live in politics awaiting the final call to grave.

The UNITY you all are trumpeting is not a real UNITY.
It is adjustment in reluctance and filled with pretense.
DAP certainly dumped it's principle and have become a lapdog!
Anwar has shown how he is an excellent liar to gain power.
Dark clouds are here for decades. Certainly, the nation has become pariah of Asia.

In fact gerrymandering will benefit MUDA .... and the UNITY. however, he choose to spoil it. whether or not it would go ahead is another question which i think would not anyways, more to come. SO far, MUDA makes no impact altho they have been talking about controversies

Anwar wanted to erase all forms of corruption, big and small. Zahid is clearly in the wrong. Though in unity government, must show the way. Wipe out corruption. Then the rakyat got confidence.

How come some of you supporter fans of Syed Saddiq cannot even get his name correct?

Posted by Carpophorus > 2023-09-12 13:24 | Report Abuse

Syed Saddiq should not be friendly or work with Mahathir & Muhyiddin if he had hoped to work with Anwar. The distrust of Mahathir & Moo by Anwar, is just too deep, especially after being played out, not once, but twice, or maybe more. Saddiq's inability to distance himself from the two is his own downfall. No one else. At least officially in the opposition now he can play his opposition role to the max. And I think most folks will expect to see him play that even more, unless he's superficial in his so-called 'principles'.

Who are you to tell SS who he should befriend?
You think he is stu--pid like you to not know evil people?
He knows how to move around with parasites and friends.
He is learning the art of politics fast and he has age with him.
So stop sulking like a customerless prostitute.

As long as Anwar remains focussed on the reform agenda, some of these compromises maybe necessarily tolerated. The path to achieving these higher goals ain't going to be smooth.

“This indicates that the way Malays in Johor think is totally different from the other states. The win coming despite the strong use of race and religion by Perikatan Nasional shows that such rhetoric does not work in the state,” he said.
Constant exposure to Singaporeans and the economic benefits they bring are said to make the people of Johor less suspicious of others.
PH+UMNO will completely wipe out the others next GE >>> MUDA + BERSATU sayonara!

I think SS underestimated PH lmao. You think PH, DAP and UMNO don't have new young bloods? SS you just shot yourself on the foot. In 5 years or maybe 3 years, give or take confirm re-election won by PH + UMNO. Kiss goodbye to your career and by then may be aging and worthless.

Personally, SS made a good move for the rakyat i would say.
Let every incumbent knows that people can judge, and people have choice.
If you cannot deliver what you have promised, we can change you.

This maybe a small step from him, but it is the big move for Malaysia political scene.

Posted by jacksonkhs888 > 2023-09-12 16:48 | Report Abuse

To me, that is a fools attempt. Not looking at the big picture for the sanity of all. If you want to do something for the so-called *greater good* I think this is more of *his* own way of sulking.

Posted by jacksonkhs888 > 2023-09-12 16:53 | Report Abuse

He's powerless to dictate a notion of change anyways. If he has the higher votes, which would allow him to invoke another political instability where risk of higher unemployment + investment/social risk could exacerbate from his own actions, you call this a right move for the rakyat? Nah, more of his own ego brr.

See what MCA, MIC and DAP etc, by looking at the big picture as what u said...
next 50 years,
things will never changed.

DAP swines can roll gleefully in the cesspool and be smug about it.
People have now realised these lapdogs are nothing but another greedy swines who hid behind corruption free and transparency bullshit.. They just replaced the old swine party, MCA nothing more or less.

Every buffalo and lapdogs have their time until people decides to throw in the towel.
That is what happened to the goliath of a buffalo party UMNO. Now they are sneaking in every way possible to remain in power.

maybe i am wrong,
If DAP can stay in power long enough like MCA did,
you will find they are all the same,
because they are all looking at big picture.

Syed Saddiq has been charged with abetting the Bersatu Youth wing’s former assistant treasurer, Rafiq Hakim, in the commission of CBT of RM1 million.
The Muda president is also charged with misusing RM120,000 in donations for the 14th general election as well as two counts of money laundering amounting to RM100,000.
