When the Govt launched the Iskandar region decades ago, they also gave many so-called incentives, like 15% income taxes etc but it did'nt really kicked off as the people handing it are just not good enough and there were not enough co-operation between state and Federal governments. For example, if you have a factory then in Penang, you wont enjoy the 15% tax if you want to set up a plant in Iskandar.Its just a show to play on Johor properties then and many were stuck. Hopefully now with the King from Johor, a proper and clear policy and plan is in place and do not disappoint any investors again.
