For companies listed in the Bursa Malaysia, the dividend may be declared in the actual amount, or as a percentage of the par value of the stock.
In the case of SBCCORP, the par value is RM1. Therefore, the dividend declared as 15% is equivalent to: 2.5% of RM 1 == RM 0.025
No result.

What is 2.5% dividend? Can anyone please help me to explain. Why some chose to announce in term of percentage while others are more straight forward to announce the exact value for the dividend. TQ
