please be aware, i am not into Sime. Their management still leaves a lot to be desired. They are lucky to be in the consistent revenue earner and biggest conglomerate in Malaysia only. Musa Hitam should say something about the current batch of misfits!

In the past year, they've paid 0.1 (29/02/2012) and 0.22 (25/08/2011). Before that were much less - http://klse.i3investor.com/servlets/stk/4197.jsp

I believe they have to up their dividend payout to keep the institutional investors happy, especially after their internal trouble in the recent years.
