Mr. Wu Chung-Jung (a Non-Independent Non-Executive Director and major shareholder of Supercomnet had on March 25, 2012 entered for and on behalf of the major shareholders of the Company (namely, Mr. Shiue, Jong-Zone, Mdm Wu Huei-Chung, Mr. Hsueh Chih-Yu @ Shiue, Jyh-Yeu and Shiue, Jyh-Jeh) an Agreement with Mohd Nazifuddin Bin Mohd Najib (hereinafter referred to as Party B) to give an option to Party B for the purchase of 45,357,000 ordinary shares of RM0.10 each at RM0.225 per share, representing 18.66% of the issued and paid-up capital of Supercomnet. Regardless of whether it is Najib's or whoever's son, I feel it's dangerous to jump in without also considering fundamentals. A company won't automatically make big profits just because the major shareholder is the PM's son. And especially nowadays when its affairs will gain even closer scrutiny since there are many who are just waiting to scream "Favouritism!" at the slightest hint. But if you have the guts to punt, hey, go ahead. I'm the cautious kind:-)
Mat, wrong. If the company has a strong man like Najib son. The company capable of getting more projects especially goverment projects. thus turning it from -ve profit to +ve figure is posibble. Share market in malaysia cant run away from politic. And Goverment spending is the revenue for most companies in malaysia. Thats why top 10 companies in malaysia were dominated by GLC- 7 from 10 if no mistake.
