While the potential of being link up with Tencent is very positive should it happen, how do you quantify the monetary benefits? Its up in the air, in fact, I think the Presto app has real potential to quickly translate into profits for the bottom line.

I would assume that they will be helping WeChat by connecting them with merchants firstly. They could get commission or some form of revenue for this, that is why I think Bersian company with the POS clients JV is a strategic move.

I agree E-Wallet in presto will help the bottom line but I believe on a bigger sale if you can get a JV with Tencent and have some form of revenue scheme with them to help them expand in Malaysia will have better revenue potential.

I think CCC wants ewallet in PW as well from an article I read before.

I think the hearsay of wechat tight up should be for presto expansion into China market,as for Malaysian market PUC e-wallet is sufficient to cater for the need of presto expansion..

Its an app within the master Presto app. Like an uber or an airbnb (Asian style) inside Presto.
This would be huge, but its step by step. The Management has its Expansion plans well laid out.
