Kerajaan sedia melihat kembali dasar GST, kata Rafizi

Kerajaan sedia untuk mengkaji pelbagai pendekatan bagi mencapai kemampanan fiskal termasuk melalui pelaksanaan cukai barang dan perkhidmatan (GST).

Bagaimanapun kata Menteri Ekonomi Rafizi Ramli apa saja keputusan yang akan dibuat kelak, ia akan dimaklumkan oleh Kementerian Kewangan (MOF).

"Kami terbuka untuk melalui apa sahaja cara yang kami boleh untuk mencapai kemampanan fiskal ini melalui asas hasil yang lebih luas, sama ada cukai keuntungan modal, GST atau apa-apa bentuk cukai langsung atau tidak langsung," katanya pada sidang media di lobi Parlimen, hari ini.

Tambah Rafizi dia lebih suka mengekalkan strategi terbuka sebegitu dan sebarang keputusan yang akan diambil dibuat berdasarkan keperluan dan keadaan semasa.

Pada 28 Feb lalu, Rafizi berkata kerajaan tidak menolak kemungkinan GST akan dilaksanakan dan hanya akan diputuskan apabila masanya tiba.

Pun begitu menurut Rafizi pelaksanaan semula GST perlu bersifat lebih progresif.

"Pandangan saya mengenai GST ialah, apabila tiba masanya, ia adalah sesuatu yang kita perlu lihat.

"Tetapi sebelum itu, kita mempunyai laluan yang mencukupi untuk tempoh 12 hingga 15 bulan akan datang untuk memperbaiki perkara yang berada dalam kawalan kita.

"Sebagai contoh, kita (kerajaan) mampu menguruskan perbelanjaan kita dengan lebih baik kali ini," katanya.

Dalam pada itu Rafizi berkata kesan pergolakan ekonomi global turut dirasai Malaysia ketika ini, namun kerajaan yakin dapat mengurusnya dengan baik.

"Pegumuman apa saja cukai baru, apa juga hasil bagi baru kami lakukan dengan MOF bersama pengumuman bajet untuk diumumkan," katanya.

I dont think so, need to upgrade the software, can just change the gst % and all will be the same, unless there is a huge amendment in the system is required.

for who wanted to know about this company. I'm shareholders of IFCA many years ago until today.
No need argue, if gst launch, ifca will earn alot of profit. Many people do not understand how IFCA run the business. I attended the AGM and asked Top management before regarding this. GST not equal to IFCA. IFCA earning is because of changing the system either GST to SST or SST to GST. SST changing to GST will earn more because more businesses will involved. and many people mentioning government may not assign IFCA to be the one for GST. they're wrong also, IFCA is providing the system to their own customer base mainly. So, it is not by contract. If GST launch.
PE 20-30, IFCA will above RM0.80 at least but it take time.

I collected vivocom from 0.04 until 0.005. and average around 0.02, when it spike to 0.08 I ran. but didnt expect it shoot up until RM0.18++. (after consolidation of 10 times.. RM1.80). I like to collect potential 10 x shares. the first i earned was from notion warrant. i collected at 0.04. but it should up til 0.45.. i missed it as i sold all at 0.12. This time IFCA i collected quite many during 0.23-0.26. but will hold as GST may come back anytime. not this year, but maybe end of next year.. IFCA will earn money before GST launch. It earn alot before it launch one. If 2025 launch. it earn a lot in 2024. except if GST only launch at 2026. then maybe this stock still have to wait.
