sacofa focus on telco tower,they own and operate telco tower in major urban area of sarawak.then rent it out to digi maxis celcom for profit.

but when come to rural area,telco tower mostly invest and own by USP fund under supervision of MCMC,redtone is the biggest MTNS player now at sabah and sarawak,and had been working on USP project with MCMC for years.

yes,they might benefited from NFCP as well from significant rise in industry investment.

but when talk about USP project,Redtone is the one and only in bursa.

if you still dont know what is USP fund under MCMC,you can get complete information at MCMC's website.

bear in mind that USP fund gonna invest RM11 BILLION into rural telco towers from now until 2023.

thats why i prefer redtone.

simon,under NFCP government targeted to expand telco coverage to 98% from 92% currently,that means the focus will be on rural area without telco coverage currently(as all township already cover with telco services).

that means sabah and sarawak will be key area to invest by USP fund as most of the under serve area located there.

it is true that NFCP 1 will focus on west malaysia as it is clearly stated in MCMC official statement.

NFCP 2 will cover both west and east malaysia but focus more on the later,as stated by MCMC too.

in total,NFCP 1 and 2 will build 653 tower, and 350 tower will be located in sabah and sarawak.so,it is true to say east malaysia will be benefit more under NFCP 1 and NFCP2 as more than 50% new tower will be there.

but no matter it is east malaysia or west malaysia,as long as it is under USP initiative project,redtone had high chance to win it.the last 3 contract than redtone won from MCMC is cover both east and west malaysia,can go check it in bursa announcement(year 2012,2014 and 2017).
