JENDELA Phase 1 is split into 2 parts, where the RM4.6Bil funding will be divided into 30% and 70% into Parts 1 and 2 respectively to construct 1,661 new sites across Malaysia.

Part 2 is required to hold both valid NFP and NSP licenses which involves design, supply, installation, testing, commissioning and operations of network service equipment.

On 27Oct2021 Redtone announced as the winner of JENDELA Phase 1 (Part 2) which valued of approx RM3.22Bil in 5yrs. As a result, approx RM161mil of additional revenue will be generated over the next 5yrs.

Question:
Who is the winner of JENDELA Phase 1 (Part 1) and how long it takes for Part 1 service providers to handover the project to Redtone?

How much net profit margin of the project? Based on pure NFP player like OCK, operating profit is around 10% of the revenue however OCK is cooperating with Huawei for the equipment while Redtone is cooperating with Ericsson.
