竞标地面数码电视基建 3入围公司呈商业计划

（吉隆坡5日讯）三家入围地面数码广播电视（Digital Terrestrial TV broadcast，简称DTTB）基础建设竞标的公司，已向大马通讯及多媒体委员会（MCMC）提呈商业计划。

这三家入围最后一轮竞标计划的公司分别为立通国际（Redtone，0032，创业板）旗下立通网络、Puncak Semangat，以及i-Media广播解决方案。

这三家公司在MCMC的首轮遴选中入围，共有8家公司呈上计划书。

DTTB服务预计于2015年杪在全国运作，将为免费广播业者提供从目前的模拟信号系统转移至数码广播格式的平台。

大马通讯及多媒体委员会在文告中表示，数码广播平台会吸引更多广播业者加入，最终会有更多的频道。

半年完成详细建议书

入围的竞标者有6个月的时间完成详细的建议书，内容包括全国详细的频率评估、在发射站进行测量，机顶盒的建议，包含详细的执行模式，并加强本身的财务能力，以兴建、营运和维修保养DTTB的基建。

DTTB基建是让现有的免费电视，从类比系统（analogue）升级成数码系统（digital）的平台。该平台最终可以让更多广播公司加入，并提供更多频道。

数码电视技术有三大传播方式，DTTB是其中一种，通过这项新技术，业者可提供数码电视、高清电视以及其他相关电视服务，包括流动电话和付费电视。

立通国际是联合华为（Huawei）、媒体广播（Media Broadcast）及普华永道（PwC），投标上述计划，由立通网络私人有限公司负责投标。

立通网络的大股东是柔佛州王族，持有51%股权，立通国际则持有余下49%股权。

Company in the black for 5qtrs as compare to P1/GP which is still in the red. So now hoping to get some new business in the DTTB. With VT in it, something will definitely brew from there. Collect more if down.

Alex, Thks. I've been collecting this ctr since 30+ cts for mother and wa at 19cts, at that time the current chairman, Dato Wira was also buying practically everyday.I just don't understand why the directors need to dispose now especially with dttb bid and all the upcoming good news.

Another old news to share:

The Board of Directors of REDtone wishes to announce that the Company had on 29 May 2013 entered into a Share Sale Agreement with Sultan Ibrahim Ismail Ibni Almarhum Sultan Mahmud Iskandar Al-Haj (“D.Y.M.M. Sultan Ibrahim”) for the divestment of 315,000 ordinary shares of RM1.00 each, representing 21% of the total paid-up capital of its subsidiary, RN, to D.Y.M.M. Sultan Ibrahim for a total cash consideration of RM315,000.00 ("Divestment").

Upon completion of the Divestment, RN will be a 49% associate company of REDTONE.

Please refer to the attachment for the full announcement in relation to the Divestment.

This announcement is dated 29 May 2013.

Many had been asking why Sultan bought RM1.00 per share? Some says he's the king of kings! Hehe

from my point of view, there are nothing to be worry. as long as u got holding power for this counter sure made profit gao gao. from 0.32 to 0.38 then boom 0.76 now 0.69 it will turn around soon. from wat i see is the show just begin. royal family and VT on board, some more telco company always come with pe 25-30 above nowadays. Redtone still have few income that still not shown in last quater exp 4g for maxis. So i think the fundementals is there. And it will stronger and stronger as times goes. Happy trading guys.
