Market can be irrational.... it feeds on any positive news to give them an excuse to drive up a stock price... conversely, it feeds on any negative news to sell down a stock.

180mil profits just an estimation from the calculations made by MT. The amount has to be added into the proposal to get approval from the BOD before the agreement can be materialized right? For most of us out here just focus on the share price whether this news can give confident to ppl to buy. And how much the company will profit in this proposal is their business. If ppl think this news can spike the share price, they will buy and dispose if they no longer wanna holding it. It is a just public interest.

secondly, till now, the Taiwanese themselves are worried they are left out of the vaccine chain, as pfizer and moderna does not have enough vaccine for them, as the Taiwan government did not booked any. They did not partake in covax either.
thirdly, Taiwan does not produce vaccine on her own.

now, where does the Taiwanese vaccine comes from ?
