Orion was issued a writ of summons and statement of claim amounting to RM10.2m by one of ASAP’s former shareholders. This lawsuit should not impact Orion as ASAP owes Orion any shortfall to its 2-year RM15m profit guarantee when Orion bought ASAP in Aug 17. Plaintiff think that the management did a bad job and asked to regain control so that they can fulfil the profit guarantee for the second year. Plaintiff is claiming about 11 millions but not 15 millions, it may mean that Orion will include over 3 millions from the account of profit guarantee as profit for last quarter.
