23 July 2020, Kuala Lumpur – Tracvirus E-Cert provides tourism industry Covid-19 test with a sense of safety and confidence. After more than four months of the Covid-19 crisis with series of movement restrictions, the tourism industry is now expected to recover after the government announced the Restoration Movement Control Order (PKPP) which allows the domestic tourism sector to reopen.

To ensure that the tourism sector is able to generate economic growth and build confidence among tourists, Nexgram via its subsidiary TRI-G together with the Malaysian Tourism Council have agreed to establish strategic cooperation.

“The industry effort is to ensure that employees, especially front liners such as reception, f & b, and housekeeping are always free from Covid-19 and do not create new cluster”, commented Malaysian Tourism Council spoke person.

Tracvirus platform provides easy access to a network of over 5000 clinics and MOH-accredited laboratories nationwide, with the ability to provide various types of Covid-19 tests for tourists and tourism industry stakeholders, unified all test reports under one E-Certification format.

The online Covid-19 test monitoring and control system can be access online through TRACVIRUS.COM. Every individual who has been screened whether using the PCR or RTK can be systematically recorded online, and an E-Cert is issued as proof of test. “This is the first online system of its kind developed in Malaysia by local talent and we are also working with Google to pioneer this application not only in our country but also in Indonesia and other countries”, according to Tri-G spoke person.

With the availability of Tracvirus, the test history of each individual can be recorded to facilitate the access to accurate and authentic user test reports via QR code scan.

“With such a program being done within the industry player, we believe tourist will be confidence to travel and enjoy their vacation calmly and comfortably”, according to Tri-G spoke person.

In addition, this program acts to ensure that the frontliners of the tourism industry will be safe and protected from Covid-19. Through Tracvirus, it can ensure employers in the tourism industry from the risk of forgery and fraud of Covid-19 test certificates.

As a result of the implementation of this program, Malaysian Tourism Council hope to help the recovery of the tourism sector by ensuring a safe environment to encourage more tourists.

Nexgram said the Tracvirus e-certificate was developed by its subsidiary, Tri-G Technologies Sdn Bhd.

“Tri-G is a company registered with the medical device authority, supplying medical equipment to government and private hospitals, and is the authorised distributor of Covid-19 polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test and rapid test kits (RTK) antibody test kits approved by Ministry of Health,” it said.

It added that with the system in place, the online Covid-19 test monitoring and control system can be accessed online through TRACVIRUS.COM,
which is the first to be conducted in Malaysia.


“Every individual who has been screened, whether using the PCR or RTK, can be systematically recorded online, and an e-certificate is issued as proof of test,” it said.
