KUALA LUMPUR, 27 Februari- Kementerian Dalam Negeri (KDN) dan Kementerian Sumber Manusia (KSM) sedia untuk menggunakan teknologi ‘Blok Rantai’ bagi memastikan tahap keselamatan dalam proses penggajian pekerja asing.

Menurut Menteri Dalam Negeri Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution, beliau yakin sistem tersebut lebih telus terutamanya jika pengurusan pekerja asing, kerana ianya turut disarankan oleh Pertubuhan Buruh Antarabangsa (ILO).

"Baik KSN atau KDN kami sekarang berganding bahu dalam urusan pekerja asing dan kami tidak pernah menutup pintu atau idea kepada meneroka kaedah teknologi atas nama 'block chain' atau atas nama apa sahaja disukat dari sudut organisasi buruh antarabangsa atau apa juga yang penting adalah komitmen kerajaan untuk mengkaji keberangkalian mengguna pakai semua teknologi semasa termasuklah block chain," katanya pada sidang media selepas peluasan kemudahan Autogate kepada warga asing di KLIA.

Dalam pada itu, beliau juga tidak menolak kemungkinan akan menggunakan sistem yang sama bagi perkhidmatan berkaitan dengan bidang tugas KDN.

Ia bagi memastikan keselamatan sistem yang digunakan oleh KDN sentiasa berada di tahap yang selamat.

Terdahulu Menteri Sumber Manusia V. Sivakumar dalam kenyataan hari ini menyatakan akan mengambil langkah segera menggunakan teknologi blok rantai bagi tujuan pemantauan ketelusan proses pengambilan pekerja asing supaya bebas daripada elemen berkait rapat dengan perlakuan buruh paksa.

Ini susulan perbincangan lanjut dengan pihak United Kingdom (UK) mengenai kerjasama yang boleh dipelopori kedua-duanya dalam menangani isu pemerdagangan orang dan buruh paksa.

I think consensus expectations are a bit on a high side pertaining to this QR.
Hence prices would have come down a bit in the near term while waiting to see how their blockchain tech perform and expand.

Not many knows how blockchain tech could actually enhance and elevate the speed of business in many ways and this is what Myeg is trying to accomplish.
