the edge weekly's article on amprop really helps. the edge didn't state tp 1.35 but now trading at more than 30% discount to nav plus financing provided by giant ambank.

amprop is the direct exposure to uk property play. jump on board guys

Erm I think the deal will drop . Because Amprop will not let go the Kesas business for rm250m .
If the deal done , I think that Amprop management also won't propose a special dividend . Anyway I hope Amprop will keep the Kesas business . This is one making cash business for the company . This share is for long term investment .

KESAS update… The KESAS offer for the remaining 70% stake closes today with indication that some of the shareholders may accept its offer. This will be immediately earnings accretive for Gamuda and a share price catalyst.

We refer to our previous announcements in relation to the offer by Gamuda Berhad (“GAMUDA”) to acquire AMPROP’s 20% equity interest in KESAS (“Offer”).

AMPROP wishes to announce that its Board of Directors today has replied to GAMUDA that it has in principle accepted the Offer subject to both parties agreeing to the revision of certain terms of the Offer. The definitive agreement will be executed upon finalisation of those terms.

Further details will be announced at the appropriate time.

This announcement is dated 18 December 2013.

The Federal Reserve announced on Wednesday night that it would scale back its monthly bond-buying programme from $85bn to $75bn and said it would make similar moderate reductions in the future subject to incoming economic data. The news sent both the Dow Jones Industrial Average and S&P 500 to new record highs on Wall Street ......as investors welcomed the end to months of uncertainty......come on !!!

many invest in amprop bcos of stable recurring income. now with kesas sold... no surprise price not moving until mgmt. announce what to do with the $. very likely most of the proceeding will be used to par down borrowings which hike at an alarming rate.
