News on Bank of China (BOC) planning to take on AmBank is nothing new and I heard about this 3 months back with influx and needs for Chinese investors with govt strategy to attract more Chinese investors to Msia. Not only I believe Bank of China will buy over the shares of ANZ whom reported "pulling out" by many rumours? but buying a majority stake in the AmBank general insurance arm would be a good comprenhensive business proposal since none of the Chinese insurance companies has yet to put a foot in the Msia general insurance segment and to service Chinese investors. AmBank shares to HOLD until further news on BOC. Else, the price likely to drive down back to around RM3.50-3.60 as in the mid 2000.

Hi family. I am a new player on this counter. I very love ambank.
However I got a question.
On 20 August ambank stock chart show high 4.35 and low 4.17.
But I check on the candle on that day. Why the bottom of the candle so thin like needle.
Actually my question is if the candle top very fat and bottom very thin like needle. And also I check on that day volume damn high. What is those mean?
Sorry I just started invest so abit stupid. I appreciate someone can tell me

Par Value RM 1 , 5% of RM 1 is RM0.05 , 1000 units * 0.05 = 50 linggit , that how much u get. 50 linggit.

curious why ay so high bonus to useless executives in this bank. 2 months minimum bonus and 6 months to seniors. i rate this stock 3 ringgit in a year time if no changes to management. value cap won't be loading this stock. dividend drop to all time low as well....no return of investment at all

ivan9511, i not using Amsecurities and Maybank. I am using Hlebroking. You no need to walk in, can online do the transaction. You must check with the Amsecurities on this matter. Hlebroking can bank in money through Hong leong bank, maybank and cimb as well.
