A week ago CIMB has unseated Mabel Gamuda in Pole Position after overtaking Gamuda in Mabel's 12 Prince Portfolio.

Today Gamuda has unseated CIMB back to Pole Position..

Malaysia King of Construction, Gamuda will join Mabel's Princes; CIMB, Maybank, PCHEM, Sime Darby, Sunway and Mabel's Farmers; SDG, IOICorp and KL Kepong in FBM Top 25 KLCI constituents with Genting M’sia may give way his position to Gamuda.

Gamuda Berhad recently announced a one-for-one bonus issue. This involves issuing up to 2.98 billion bonus shares 1 to its shareholders, effectively doubling the number of shares they hold without any additional cost. The bonus shares will be issued fully paid, without capitalizing the group’s reserves.

This move comes on the back of a strong financial performance for the fourth quarter of FY2024, where Gamuda reported an 8.2% increase in net profit to RM272.49 million. The company’s revenue also saw a significant jump of 38.7% to RM4.72 billion.

Looking forward to see CIMB back to Pole position.

there are two main pillars for CIMB growth. one in malaysia ,one in the indonesia in the past indonesia side was not performing well as the country was poor, with massive unemplyment . Recently ,the economic scenario has changed, the global supply chain ,move to south east asia, for indonesia,the GDP improve to 5% for past few years, the economy begin to take off, CIMB -niaga ,profit figure is largely improving and breaks new record.

It is now the 2nd largest bank not only by assets, but also by Market Cap.
It's Market Cap has overtaken PBB. (which is now 83.6B)
