Yes. The last q div determine the fate of this share. Int rate hike make fixed income securities unattractive. Unless toto can continue its 7% div yield, there is not much hope for share price hike.

KinSoon, the worst it happened before was in 2002 where I accumulated most of my BjToto shares. It took almost 1 year to recover. It was due to the huge intercompany loan to BjLand (the substantial shareholder make use of BjToto cash) & foreign funds were unhappy & dumping the shares.

Last year 18 Jun, they announced 4th qtr results - profit fell RM16m & a pathetic dividend of 4 cents. This year 18 Jun, Jupiter will change house from Gemini to Cancer. What will be the impact? Another reduced profit & poor dividend? Management is v quiet. Whatever it may be, I'll make it to the AGM, get my umbrella door gift & some free food to raise my yield!

I see the word "decline" a lot.

Price will go up because people like dividends but then it would go down because the performance is bad compared to last year.
