SELL... if the turnaround strategy is not approved. Geely can withdraw from Proton and invest in some other auto companies. A few hundred millions is not a big sum to them. At present the selling and buying turnover volume is mainly created by EPF and Tabung Haji.

Heard the 2 shareholders of Proton, Geely & DRB, having issues. Could be played out in 2 ways:

1) Geely take 100% of Proton - This would be good for DRB. Given election coming, I don't think this will happen for the time being.
2) Geely pull out of Proton - Not good for DRB.

I currently don't own any DRB shares as I had sold during the recent run-up.

Also, Geely actually wanted Lotus for their light weight technology, wasn't very interested in Proton. But deal was packaged and they had no choice. Let's see how it plays out. I am negative on DRB for now.

I won't say very cheap. but is not too expensive. Geely actually looking buy drb, not because of Malaysia market. Use common sense to think . If you buy stake in DRB only look at Malaysia domestic market, than Geely is not from CHINA any more. that must be a purpose behind.

If without strategy partner like Geely,drb debts will continue to widen. Those parasitics spoon fed brainless nuts cannot figure out if the company makes profits, they too can benefits as part of the share holders. If Geely final decision to pull out the price of drb will drop drastically. Company with too many politicians involved cannot move forward.
