Short selling is good for Bursa. It will encourage people to trade more. More people trade means the volume will increase. Good for Bursa shares!

Nope, the last trading day for C33 is 29/12/2020, it will be suspended on 30/12/2020. You can refer to C33's announcement

Need some clarity. For C33, assuming that upon expiry the underlying share is established to be 9.00 and the call warrant 0.05, will the holder get any cash settlement and how much would he get if he holds 100,000 of the C33 call warrants. appreciate an answer thanks

If C33 have average VWAP of 9, settlement will be:
100,000 x (9 - 8.5) x 1/8 = 6,250

Then I think is C33 VWAP of 9, then the warrant shall be more than 0.06 since the bank May but back at 0.05 instead of pay at the cash settlement right? Let see..if so then I will just hold till end of expiration if compared to 0.05 current price or lower

Btw, C29 expired today, let us see what the payout is.

If we hold 1,000 lots of C29, the average closing price for last 5 days: (8.79 + 8.82 + 8.88 + 8.94 + 8.91) / 5 = 8.868. Then, the settlement is 100,000 x (8.868 - 8.88) x 1/6 = -200.

As a result, investors who still hold C29 suffered total loss

Still very strong support. Q4 super good results is given. Valuation above 20 remains high. Anyway, chief traders will determine its direction.
