s466466,WY chan,This message does not know is it? talamt during 2007 up to 3.7 billion of debt before restructuring, the current debt reduced to 1.2 billion, talamt a total of 1800 acres of land in Ampang, Sepang, Puchong, Bukit Jalil, can develop 4 billion worth of housing programs. Currently handling the sale of 85% stake in China maxcourt hotel, if successful sale can get 900 million, to the time the debt is reduced to 300 million, minus the land value after 900 million, is 0 debt a. I do not know that this plan will be realized? Only wait.

ckgoh3.... the only way TT can recover is to get rid of the huge loan which is killing them.... they cannot generate cash flow fast enough to pay down..... the only way is to sell the land.... which they are doing it now....

To develop a land... takes 2 -3 yrs.... now the property market is not down but the take up rate is 40% on the overall market.... so the GDV cannot translate to cash....

This Q results is positive as they have disposed a piece of land to TA.... hopefully I'm not wrong based on their announcements..... hope the gain on land disposal can cover their operating cost and also interest cost.....

Meng, not really strong. Last few weeks, it was strong at 0.12, then 0.115.
And last week, it was very strong at 0.11 and I thought this is the bottom but it went down further to 0.10 which surprised me, then this week it was trying to go further down to 0.995!
So I think we have to wait for the recovery of world market, at least for a few days or weeks to bring it back to the up trend.

This counter got hope and risk. Bull or bear will all depend on next 3-4 qtrly financial result. I agree with u ckgoh3... Really shock as i thought 0.11 will be the max low. My average now is 0.11++
Sea of red... ohhh my my. Every penny loss means a lot to me. Keep fridge and see after 9-12mths

KUALA LUMPUR: Kumpulan Europlus Bhd (KEB) has signed a deal to sell 900 million Talam Transform Bhd shares to Tan Sri Chan Ah Chye @ Chan Chong Yoon for RM99mil.

KEB said on Friday it had inked the conditional share sale agreement with Chan to dispose of the shares at 11 sen a share. The shares accounted for 21.3% of the paid-up of Talam Transform.

It said sale price was based on a willing buyer-willing seller basis based on the historical share price and the audited consolidated net assets as at Jan 31, 2014 of 14 sen per share.

We are not expecting TALAMT to fly right now, since the feathers are not fully grown, but at least it should recover to the REASONABLE price which is 0.110 to 0.120 since the world economy is going back on track after the bearish period last week. Last night Dow Jones even up more than 200 points..
