due to uncertainty factors from Russia and Ukraine, importer wont risk themselves to import from these countries and this issue wont solve in recent months, Indonesia have restriction on export. so i believe malaysia palm oil will benefit a lot

why keep on ask ppl take profit???average cpo selling price for genp in 2021 is around rm4000/tonne.....this year 2022 simply averaging at rm6000/tonne....eps will be historical high for sure and it's not only genp but to all plantation companies.

For March 2022, MPOB reported unprecedented average CPO price of RM6,867 per MT (+16% MoM, +70% YoY). Average CPO for year 2021 is around RM4000 which means the coming quarterly eps +70%

The last time GenP was below 6.50 was around year 2010
Apart from rights issue in 2013, there wasn't any bonus/split
Average CPO was around RM3K from 2010-2020

The demand of CPO should be relatively stable over the period. The exception is.. When the fear of shortage created by the news, traders and war making consumers rushing to stock up more than a bottle of cooking oil at their home for the couple of months. At the same time, traders keep more stock and wait for the price to increase. What would happen in the end... You know là. The consumers and traders slash their orders and consume their stock before replenishing.
