From Charts, price may go up some more. Call Warrant CH better value at just 1.8% and still more than 2 months to go. Wonder what is the TP now for MFCB. !

Jaks is not loss making. It is profitable. Only thing is the Commissioning of Operation Date of Turbine is delayed. When MFCB releases result, Retailers may consider Jaks as cheaper alternative. Dk66 and OTB is bullish on Jaks and anything below 1.20 is worth it.

Mfcb and Jaks are in different categories in my opinion. Mfcb have a 80% stake in their power plant, and jaks only have 30% minority stake on their 1200mw power plant. What Mfcb is dealing, water which is free but uncertainty is within how much god offers you. Its not difficult for me to choose a clearer partner whom i want to work with.

Due to the Right issue, some Jaks investors might sell out and buy this instead!Good for Mfcb

coming result on 29 th May, Thursday, will be a very good one. Price will no doubt go over 6 rgt.

Jaks rights issue is good as it gives 50% discounted price to share holders and free money in the form of Warrants, 1 for 2 rights shares at 40 cents for the rights price. Rights issue by itself can be sold as it is quoted.

recall Malayan Flour rights issue. Those that undertook rights, easily made lots of money.

Expected yearly net profit starting from this year onwards to be at USD70-75million. Cash flow of about USD80 million.
Unprecedented earnings...

Ninja. is your figure USD 70-75 M not overly optimistic.Talking over RM 300m or 0.63 per share.Price could go to 7.63 on 12X multiple or even 9.50 on 15X

Posted by NinjaInPyjamas > 2020-05-28 11:33 | Report Abuse

No, is the most conservative calculation because of 20 years depreciation for the assets.
You can check last quarter energy sales generated by only 1 turbine ie 3 months sales to do rough estimation.

Last quater energy sales was 30m from 85 MW over 2 months which translate to 550M sales per year on 260 MW.To achieve net profit of 300-320 M net margin has to be over 55%.May be that is possible. There is about 40m from other activities

Posted by NinjaInPyjamas > 2020-05-28 11:47 | Report Abuse

Correct, to be exact energy sales is 29.7mill. Net profit before interest, tax, depreciation is 26.4mill. Just consider it as 3 months sales n np la. Gross Profit is densely that high, if you go to AGM you will know

I guess we wont have to wait long.By this weekend,1Q20 will come out and confirm this.Is this why the price is moving up nicely with small gains each time as the intrinsic value is much higher like in the 8.00s .Surely those buying expect at least 20-30% MARGIN

MFCB possible coming QR (Jan-Mar20) will contributed EPS 15-20cents / Quarter?

Posted by Hock Chai Tern > 2020-05-28 13:04 | Report Abuse

13-15cents

I think mfcb Q1 result will be out today. Estimated eps to be between 12 to 15 s due to dry season from Jan to March . The power plant only run 3 turbines instead of 4. However, the lower interest rates plus higher exchange rates will help eps and compensate for the loss due to dry.season. My opinion.

My estimate 15-17 cents pegging annual eps of 63 cents.Price steady to 7.00

Posted by NinjaInPyjamas > 2020-05-28 15:10 | Report Abuse

Yes, Jan-Mar is driest season, lowest precipitation. Most rainfall will be in July-Sept yearly which gives higher output. So the weakest quarter yearly coming up today

Posted by Jeffreyboy > 2020-05-28 15:23 | Report Abuse

well noted.
during dry season, if 13-15 cents... also consider good....

probability, mfcb is my saviour this year . It has gone up.30% since the close of 5.00 at the end of 2019. I believe mfcb still has room.to go up further when the power plant hit the 90 and 98 % utilization not to mention the potential of the 5th.turbine plus its other businesses.

PJSeow, what level do you think MFCB can go to.QL is 9.70 on eps of 0.15, Tmecom 11.10 on eps 0.59,Topglove 13.20 on eps 0.15

steady31, I estimated mfcb total eps for this year to be about 65s . A PE of 15 is reasonable in view of its consistent earning for many years to come plus its commitment on.paying a generous dividend.

PJ,looks like it as funds seem to be still buying at this level.AT 15X the price level would be 9.70s ,which is a good 48% return from 6.60

agreed with you pjseow... lets polish this gem nice nice
