There has been reports GenS having a lead vs Melco, personally I don't know the actual situation.

How you compare football in Japan vs having Sega Sammy as partner? On the principal itself, GenS have better IR experience than Melco, this is almost universally agreed. How much weight this carries depends.

I dug on the football thing, it is not exactly ownership, they just sponsor partially
Partnership started in 2019 ended in July 2021 and they extended it recently (probably because IR result was delayed lol)

I've said it before the Japan IR is a bonus. As can be seen from GenS share price, the Japan IR too has not been priced in. The IB's in their research reports too have not factored it in

If GenS gets it, good. If it doesn't, then GenS huge cash position will be used for other developments

If you go back to before Genting Singapore was open, GenS share price only went on an exponential rise when Resorts World Sentosa was close to opening / was opened (2009-2010)
