Fantastic! Net profit more than doubled that of FYE2020, even though SG borders not fully opened yet in 2021. Shall contribute positively to GenB’s FYE2021 results (expected next thurs)… Impressive
Actually when gens deliver weak Q3 result, analyst already expect a similar weak Q4 result due to surging cases in singapore. Core profit wise, Q4 could be marginally better than Q3 actually. Maybe you guys are expecting a boom which not realistic. But hey, RM4.68 only. And this quarter is all about malaysia. I believe malaysia can single handedly pull up genting berhad to black. expect US and plantation also strong.
So yeah! Genting Singapore so so! But not bad! But i think Genting plantation will be huge! Expect huge divvy! My hope is that Genting will give some divvy if next week quarter turns black! However, i have zero prediction! The price movement tells what to expect!
Agree @Billc…. this is why GenS’ 160% y-o-y jump in net profit is very impressive considering the strict measures for F&B and leisure businesses last year
